tested Stop casting when Thok the Bloodthirsty is casting Deafening Screech today. But unfortunately it does not work Can you please check it again?

I tested again with HB 697 on Ordos. Still not refreshing on UVLS's proc and the CR is still pausing. Seems that HB remains broken.

 

I'll have a look once I get this other stuff out the way with the aura procs.

Sure the trinkets actually procing? Not much in the logs about it.

 

I'm sure. I have the addon to track the proc and I saw he's not refreshing the Doom on the proc. I will test one more time.

- Added Cast Spell on Aura/Proc data table. This will allow customizing reacting to trinket/raid procs.
- Added error handling to logging output.
- Fixed some null exceptions.
- Recompiled for .697
- [Affliction] Re-added DoTs check for MG.
- [Destruction] Re-added Immolate check before Incinerate.

The new aura stuff still isn't completely finished, and it has some issues with deleting records - but should be mostly working.

Not sure the aura thing is working. Bit of a rush to fix bits for the new HB release. Haven't got time tonight to debug it properly

 

At dummy worked like a charm! But seems HB is still pausing sometimes in raid.

 

Good to know. Need to check over aura procs and timings to make sure HB is reacting to them correctly again.

*edit* afflictions single target still sucks. Shall start the re-write of it tomorrow.

Just in general. It's doing all the right stuff but just not pulling the numbers. Going to try copying simcraft down to the letter and see what that produces.

 

That's unfortunate... for some reason in my mind I relate warlocks who go Destruction with noobs. Not too sure why... i guess cause when i was really playing hardcore demo and affliction were better than destro and the people that were destro were just specced into it because it was easier to play.

 

Hmm, destro is an easy spec but it's damned powerful. I love the big numbers. I also really love affliction though - it's like... how warlocks are *meant* to be.

Just sim-crafted my char - I can do ~60k in game, but SC is saying 73k is possible (this is with no buffs/flasks/food/debuffs etc). Destro with Demonic under the same circumstances does ~83-85k for me - so even if I can get affliction doing another 13k (unlikely) it'll still not going to beat destruction by the looks of it.

*edit* just thought - i'm geared for destruction though. May be able to get affliction to meet destruction when I get regemmed and stuff.

- [Affliction] Tuning - Minor increase in DPS

Made all of the quick and easy changes I can. Seeing 63k dps now (3k increase..)

Changed the simcraft profile to match a target dummy (i.e. no drain soul etc). That's saying I can achieve 68k dps, so I'm now ~5k short of the theoretical maxium.

 

I'll got items/gems/reforge for affliction. can test
also affliction very need good items instead destro.
and also as i remember - SC ALWAYS say possible dps WITH Bloodlust..

 

Just tested the best PQR profile. It's doing 57k dps as opposed to demonic's 63k (on my char). Okay. Feeling a little bit happier about it now (but still not happy).

Yeah, I know what you mean, Millz. I'm half geared for Destruction and half geared for Affliction. I'm slowly getting an Affliction set together. Using all gems, reforges, and lower cost enchants for Affliction in Throne of Thunder I average, fully raid buffed with food and flask, about 65-68k DPS as single target. The AoE I haven't been able to measure yet. It's not a whole lot, but then again I don't think Affliction has very high AoE damage, at least not like Destruction/Demon does, but I could be wrong. My gear ilvl is 486/489 (equipped/in bags). But, I haven't tried with the new HB and the updated Demonic yet. This was with your last revision for .696.

If you could, could you suggest a glyph/talent workup for Affliction that you can SimC the best DPS with? Also, if you want, I'll PM you a masked armory link. I'm no longer posting them in the forums because I've had people PM me telling me they're no good because my toons can still be looked up and found out.

 

t5 first talent (powerful imp), t6 first talent (double DS), glyph for unstable affliction. you can pm me if you have any questions about affliction

 

affliction is NOT better than destro. if you're raiding 10 mans Destro will be on top every single time

sacrifice and supremacy is pretty much the same. Sac goes ahead of sup in single target fights ( think malkorak or jin rok) theres no reason to be affliction unless you like it more than destro

 

For sure the HB is still pausing and casting only filler!!!

 

well i think your affliction tweaks were nice Millz, doing about 145k on a test dummy over 100m damage done.

Also another nerf today:

Affliction
Agony's damage has been reduced by 15%.

 

While we are on the subject of simcraft, my lock is suppsed to be around 73k on a raid dummy, but i'm doing 63-65k in game as destro. Then after looking closer i saw that simcraft has the boss at 20% thus it enables the use of Shadowburn wich is the spell that outputs most dmg. I didn't find a way to change this percentage however cuz i'm not that familiar with simcraft.
