Tried this in proving grounds as a resto druid yesterday, and i was amazed that it actually outplayed a paid routine made by the same guy that makes the resto druid of Oracle, pretty much afk?d to wave 27 while the other cc Mirabis makes struggle to get to wave 10-11 =) Deeply impressed by this.
Well actually, it's Wulf making Oracle and pretty much no one else. Mirabis' Leaves is very configurable and performs well. I have yet to set up a side-by-side comparison, but both out of the box (default settings) Oracle was doing a better job for me yesterday. But; no fair comparison as they were both set default and that means settings could be very different from each other.
hehe thumbs up to Wulf , but we are currently having issues with Leaves.. meaning no optimal performance. Default... Default... you know Leaves default rejuvenation is set to 33% ? There's even a Popup telling u " U HAVE TO CHANGE SETTINGS" because the default is *****, since I started working on a new interface. Anyhow glad that u can bot on ur restoration druid
Just wondering if this heals immerseus adds or if i have to do it myself, going to do it myself anyway but it'd be nice to know if i can afk it edit: nevermind, it seems to. Noticed it doesn't seem to dispel Mark of Arrogance at least in flexi mode. although i guess it's complicated looking for a buff before dispelling a debuff, i did it by hand.
Wulf I was asking about using oracle in Dungeon Buddy without you having to start healing on each combat. Wouldn't it be the same thing as proving grounds? Have you qued using DB yet and tried it?
Yea it should be the same, dungeon buddy is a little different though. Try selecting the tank as your current target when you first enter. I'll look at it soon.
Ok Wulf maybe I had something corrupted? I cleaned out all the oracle related files and reinstalled 258 from svn and now it's engaging in healing with no input from me ... /shrugs
using out of the box settings without adapting per boss is not gonna get you very good results if ur serious about raiding.
Wulf I guess there is something going on it doesn't do well in LFR using DB. Almost never heals on trash no matter what I change. I have tried on pally/priest/shammy all the same thing
one of the things with dungeon buddy, and a routine that does not have movement logic and rest behavior in it. Dungeonbuddy(if i am not mistaken) completely overrides the combat routine when it needs to handle movement. So, if you have iwantmovement plugin which i assume you are since oracle does not handle any movement. Iwantmovement inserts itself into the combat routing as a movement source....so if you need to move, facetarget that sort of thing it takes over where the routine normally would. Now with DB, if it needs to move you out of anything or to a certain location it completely halts the combat routine to do this. Thus like you are stopping oracle. Now when you first start oracle or an encounter it always takes it a second to initialize. This to me is amplified every time DB tries to move you. Now I may be completely wrong with this, but that is my theory on why it pauses so much for trash and bosses with dungeonbuddy.
Great explanation of what I am seeing. It would seem that for DB I will be forced to find another CR I am not using I want movement btw because DB likes to do what it has to to get you out of stuff
How is mana useage?? .. i use kingwow for my disc priest ... and i oom WAY!!! to fast .... and im 517 IL fully reforged gemmed and enchanted!! so yea replys would be nice!
Mana usage is great, i always finish with over 50% mana, and i turn the AOE settings up to 95%, makes me burn mana faster
ok i put it in my Rot folder but when i started honorbuddy on my priest ... i could choose from Richies Disc PvP and Kingwow and singular .... any idea why????
Hello i have some issue.The routines takes a while sometimes to starts in combat any idea how to fix that? Used it in LFR today it only healed on immersus it didnt triger in combat on other bosses or anything is there some new activation button or smth added?
