Hi again, Darkee, and thanks for the fresh log, In this log, your failure mode has changed... You are now suffering from problems with the RocketRescue behavior. The problem has been repaired, and should be available in the next Honorbuddy release. Please read this response to see the work-around until the next Release is made available. cheers, chinajade Ref: Darkee's original post w/log
There was problem for me with the DK starter profile. The quest where you have to go down and steal a horse, the bot would run down there, do nothing and then run back up, and just keep doing that over and over again. Also the quest where you have to pick up arrow and the quest where you have to kill villagers or something he will hit the NPC, take the arrow and then leave the NPC he would just have to hit once to finish that other quest. He will also keep pulling the large dogs for no reason. They aren't part of a quest, it just wastes time.
Hey! I've been running the bot on a mage from 1 to 46 smoothly, now however i've run into a problem. The bot moves as usual, picks up quests etc but when its time to kill something it just says "moving towards #randommob" and he walks over to the mob and just stands there and dies. he doesnt attack at all anymore im using singular routine, attaching my latest log. keep up the awesome work btw
For Kick and the team: No bugs to report yet but I'm about to start levelling some more characters. However, I do have some suggestions for the project. When passing through each applicable area, can we set the bot to mail items BEFORE vendoring/repairing? This will allow those wanting BoEs to disenchant (if the tags are set appropriately) while still emptying bags of all those nasty BoPs that tend to accumulate. Can we force destruction of soulbound vanity rewards for the same reason? For example, Ken-Ken's Mask. Again, for the purpose of not occupying bag space. For completionists, can we read any books we encounter during questing for the Well Read achievement? Or as much as we can get done anyway. And also the Lorewalkers monuments as we pass those in questing. Finally, a request for some information. Can we know which quests are still missing from each zone?
<Vendor Name="Jadefire Felsworn" Entry="7109" Type="Repair" X="3892.28" Y="-672.5698" Z="328.7687" /> thats the id:.. its been happening since like 3 days ago since the update, the bot doesn't attack anything at all, it just says movings towards:... please help?
Hi, Sx3Rfpa5N, Aye, the issue with "Grand Theft Palomino" is already on the Known Bugs List: Classic 1-58. For now, just do the quest manually and move on, please. The issue with the "pick up the arrows" and "attack the dogs" is due to the way that InteractWith does business. InteractWith is the only behavior we've got for obtaining this goal at the moment. We use the DK starter profile all the time for testing purposes, and don't feel the inefficiencies are out of line. If your delays are excessive, then perhaps there is something awry with your Honorbuddy installation. To have a look, you will need to attach the full log that captures the problem. Ref: [Guide] How to attach your log cheers, chinajade
Hi, ShortRound, The profile can schedule the need for a vendor run. However, HBcore alone determines which vendors will be visited and in which order?the profile has absolutely no control in this regard. Every time a (even small) content patch is released, it seems Bliz has fiddled with some quests and we have to go back and adjust things. This seems to happen a lot even in 'newbie' areas. To try do to what you suggest would be a never-ending struggle. There are several WoWclient addons that can provide this information. We feel the team's time is best spent on other activities. cheers, chinajade
Hi, Javiergame4, If you need assistance, please see the guide for Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance. Specifically, we need the full log (attached) that captures whatever issue you are having. cheers, chinajade
Hi, Kief, and many thanks for the log! It seems your Honorbuddy installation has some problems: [19:38:12.480 D] System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.Exception: Endast delar av en ReadProcessMemory- eller WriteProcessMemory-beg?ran har slutf?rts, at addr: 000001B8, Size: 4 at GreyMagic.ExternalProcessMemory.ReadByteBuffer(IntPtr addr, Void* buffer, Int32 count) at GreyMagic.MemoryBase.Read[T](IntPtr addr) ...<problem continues until bot stopped>... Honorbuddy is not reliably communicating with the WoWclient. I'm not certain what has happened. What I would try to clear the problem: Restart both WoWclient and Honorbuddy If no joy, reboot the machine If still no joy, try doing a 'clean install'. Instructions here, should you choose to do it: HelpDesk: "Clean installing" Honorbuddy If you still have issues, then please make a thread in the Support forum, and show them a fresh log of the problem. cheers, chinajade Ref: Kief's original post w/log
If your character is not freshly created... You may also run the auto-loader profile for your faction, and have it select the correct profile for you. This is automatically accomplished by the built-in auto-chaining functionality. To speed things up, you may prefer to directly load the profile of interest to you. ok so i ahve a level 31 priest and i ran it, and it spammed "Moving to Type: QuestPickUp" so i'm thinking i'm not in the right continent? i tried running the 12-58 part of it and scince im starting already at lvl 31 i cant figure it out.. thanks
Hi, Hypocrisy818, and thanks for the log. [00:47:53.377 D] Loading profile from C:\Users\Silvano\Desktop\SVN\Kick's Profiles\Useful Stuff\1-85 Grinding Profile Pack\LK 68-80\[H] LK 68-80 [Kick].xml This is simply a user error. You must use the Grind bot for Grinding profiles, and the Quest bot for questing profiles. Of course, Honorbuddy isn't going to find a "Quest Order" in a grinding profile like you've loaded. Switch your bot to the Grinding bot, if that's what you want to do. Alternatively, you can load the correct profile for questing as described in Where Do I Start?. cheers, chinajade
Hi, Shankenizer, From your problem description, it sounds like you might be suffering from cache corruption. If so, you can find the explanation and remedy here: HelpDesk: Cache corruption problems The other thing that might be going on, is that you're standing in Orgrimmar, and where you need to be is many many zones away. It can take Honorbuddy 1-2 minutes to calculate the route of such a large traversal, sometimes. Alas, there is no way to know what is going awry for you, unless you attach a full log and let us see what is happening. Ref: [Guide] How to attach your log cheers, chinajade
So the SetVendor/ClearVendor and similar tags don't do anything in profiles? I thought those were intended for just this purpose. And regarding my request for information on missing quests. I mean those ones not included in the profile, not those that are but are bugged. For example: Perfection, Attention, Jaded Heart and Spitfire are the ones I know of in The Jade Forest. Knowing which quests still need attempting will help people with Loremaster and who knows, somebody might even come up with some code for those to be included in the profile.
Hi again, ShortRound, I've captured your requests here: Known Bugs List: Miscellaneous (Rep, Seasonal, etc). I'm still unclear how you think SetVendor/ClearVendor can be used by a profile to change the order in which Honorbuddy visits the vendors. When a profile requests a vendor run, Honorbuddy merely notes the request and 'schedules' it. The profile has absolutely no control of when the vendor run will actually be conducted. Doing something like only allowing the 'mail vendor', followed by a 'schedule the run and wait for it to complete', then only allow a 'sell vendor', followed by a 'schedule the run and wait for it to complete' is an incredibly hacky, brittle, and error-prone solution. It would also lead to dead-locks in some situations. This is not a problem that is the profile's responsibility to solve. Perhaps a quest behavior could be written for this eventually. Your requests are appreciated, and have been captured. However, this is not work we are willing to take on at this time. cheers, chinajade
I thought using those tags in combination with the ForceSetVendor behavior would do exactly what we require. We enter a quest hub. We select the appropriate vendors and mailbox with the tags. We force a mail using the behavior. Then we force a sell/repair with the behavior. Then we clear the vendors and mailbox and go back to HB core's settings. I'm not sure if the selling of items also sells obsolete soulbound items though. That's what ends up cluttering my bags after a few hours of questing.
idk if this is kicks profiles or just the bot itself, it doesn't work on a hunter while doing quests.. It keeps saying: moving towards: and never attacks anything.. please help, heres a log
The level 24-27 Horde Quest [They're Out There] the bot uses to goggles to see the Ally Night Elves in Stealth, but it will not target them. Reporting this.
There appears to be a lot of issues in the valley of the four winds 9i have had to baby sit every second quest in this area. I afk'd for awhile on this one and came back to find my guy was in the complete wrong area for the quest yet that was the hot spot it wanted him at. <Vendor Name="Frenzyhop" Entry="56514" Type="Repair" X="30.91797" Y="149.3633" Z="174.6766" /> here is my log you can see where he was going in it.
