[PAID] [Mage] Portal - An Advanced Honorbuddy Mage Routine [PvE/PvP]

- Healthstones fixed for Non-English clients.
- Potion / Healthstone usage now caches if we have the item to prevent it constantly searching bags to find it.
- Changes to attempt to prevent Potion of the Jade Serpent from spamming when already used.
- Fixed Invocation repeatedly casting in a loop.
- Changed some Polymorph code to make it more aggressive.

 

can u add function use blink when stucked? it will be very helpful because HB unstuck doesnt work properly

 

Hello Millz,

considering my Frost Mage it's just lvl 17 (testing CC in BGs hehe) I noticed it doesn't cast fire blast, not anymore anyway -I'm using PvP settings; in fact I am pretty sure it used to at 10-15 lvl bracket. Is that intentional? Consider also I am a total N00b with mages so it might be just right but I guess it's good to cast one or two fire blasts while kiting. Anyway, this will help me understand the class better, lol.

 

I've noticed a drop in DPS, can anyone confirm this? (Arcane Mage)

I found two bugs of the Portal premium routines
1.It's crushed in Arena.
2.Still need a target to summon water elemental.

On the previous pages Millz is referring to a bug in HB which decreases the dps and claims it has nothing to do with the CC(premium)

BUT: KingWoW CC Arcane is running better and faster now than portal(premium) and it delivers higher dps on shorter encounters.
In longer fights though it's flawed(KingWoW), overall it slows down after a while and especially shows issues with lack of DoT'ing. It seems like it kind of pauses after a while and then suddenly starts up again(this also applies to frost, don't know about fire). I might add that is has nothing to do with low mana issues or other GUI-settings, because I have tried different setups and it happends all the time. It's has bin this way for as long as I can remember.

Im not on a mission to advertise for KingWoW here because before the so called HB-bug that lead to decreased dps in Portal Premium, it was simply amazing and delivered by far the highest dps as arcane, can't comment on frost or fire since frost gave me poorly results after 5.4. in all CC's and I dont play fire.

I just hope that Portal Premium will step up and be able to again perform as the dps-monster it used to be.

Note: Im strictly speaking about PvE here, since I don't play PvP

 

Hey - It's not an easy thing to do, because Honorbuddy doesn't call the combat routine while it's stuck. That sort of thing is really down to Honorbuddy to handle though.

Hey - Fire Blast is cast whilst moving.

I've just had a PM saying that the DPS is much better... ? It shouldn't be worse because it's no longer messing up with the 5th cast stuff.

1) Would need more information to be able to do anything with this - but in arenas you can't fully rely on the routine to take care of everything. I know of people using it at high rating successfully.

I'll take a look later, but the biggest difference I believe is that the KingWoW routine uses Arcane Power much earlier than what Portal does.

I'll reduce the constraints within Portal slightly. If you remove them completely then ultimately it nets lower DPS.

Ultimately, in PvE, a boss fight is what matters. Nobody cares if you top meters on trash. Boss fights are over a longer duration, so the focus is on sustaining DPS.

 

Just ran a BG and apparently it doesn't. Here's a log if can help you.

 

Yes I agree about the sustaining DPS on boss fights is all that matters in the end.
In a few situations I want high burst early on due to mechanics on some of the bosses, but I can handle that manually so np.
Rep grinding or just plain simple farming on Timeless Isle is were you want quick burst, but i guess that can be done as well changing some of the settings in GUI

That's odd. I'll make a change to attempt to fix it - never noticed it not casting before.

Can I presume you don't have any trinkets? There's some errors in the logs I want to remove - so just checking that's the reason for it.

Arcane Power previously would only cast when >= 3 charges and 2 stacks of arcane missiles. I'm changing that to only need 1 stack of arcane missiles and 2 charges. It'll help with the burst a bit.

I'm at work at the moment so can't test any of it though.

I mean If use the Portal premium routines in Arena or rated battleground,the wow program will crushed and must forced to close it.

 

Oh.. Crashed.. I thought you meant you were getting killed easily - because that's the opposite to my experience, last night I went 18 to 1 in a random BG as frost.

Anyway.... Can you post a log file from Honorbuddy when it happens?

Can you also try loading up Honorbuddy, but don't click Start until after you've entered the arena/battleground? Or alternatively start it and then Pause the bot base (like with Tyrael use the hotkey Alt+X) while zoning.

That's weird. Does this crash every time? It's trying to cast self buffs - i.e. Arcane Brilliance.

What about if you don't start the bot until you change zone ? Does it work then?

 

The bot would appear to have issues with clearing it's target when questing. I have used the questing profile that premium came with, and tried it with looting enabled and disabled. I'm using kicks profile for questing and it keeps wanting to turn back to the mob it killed like every .5 sec or so, making it studder hard core and look very bot like, is there a way to add a check to see if it's dead and clear your target if so?
