Yeah it gets to every waypoint then it 'waits' for a couple of seconds and moves to the next, looks real botty. Any reason for this?
Are you using a groundmount? Perhaps your waypoints are too close together. Regardless, increase the frequency ms for recording so your node are farther apart. Maybe that will help.
Are you on a ground mount and what speed is it? If the waypoints were done on a slower mount there can be some sticking.
probably you are on a ground mount profile so if the profile is made with a 60%speed mount and you are trying to use it with a faster one you will have this start-stop issue
Yes it was with ground mount. How exactly does the bot work, tony? The profiles dont seem to store any information about the speed of your mount, so how come if you make a profile with a 60% speed mount you have these problems (If you attempt to run the same profile with a 100% speed mount)
When the profile is created, there is the frequency at which waypoints are created and the speed of the mount creating the waypoint. Assume 2000ms frequency for dropping waypoints. That means every 2 seconds, a waypoint is being created. If they were placed with a 60% mount, the distance between the points are closer than they would have been if they were created with a 100% mount. I.E. The 100% mount to get between the nodes created by the 60% much more quickly. If there are a lot of turns and what not, then when it reaches that new node (and does so much more quickly than the 60%), it has to stop and readjust it's direction before moving on.
It doesn't have to stop to readjust it's direction, because it moves via click-to-move. The reason it stops is because, as he mentioned, your 100% mount is closing the gap between that 2 second waypoint in less time than the 60% mount did. You're right. The bot does not differentiate between what mount you have. It is a bit rudimentary in that aspect. However, the bot is mostly made for flying farming and not much attention has been given to ground mounts. The best thing to do is create your own profile or use a 60% mount if the problem persists. If you know the profile was made with a 100% mount and you're a DK or Paladin, use your 60% mount. I personally switch to my prot spec to get rid of the Pursuit of Justice talent, and make sure that Crusader Aura is disabled. Those will also make the bot to the same thing. Good luck.
I thought the same thing too. But it really is for gathering with flying mounts. It can do ground mounts. But frankly, it sucks compared to flying. I just gather by hand to skill up until outlands+.
