Farm more than just herbs and ore? What did you have in mind? One thing I'll be adding (eventually) is skinning. Similar to harvesting nodes if it discovers a skinnable mob it will descend and skin it. Intelligent farming for professions is something I wanted to add originally. I called it a shopping list feature. You enter the quantity of objects to harvest and just hit the start button. Its on the to do list but I'd want to implement it properly.
If it works as well as stated in the thread and that people claim it does, I would not hesitate to donate towards this awesome project. I've never had any problems with any of your other projects and I am sure this will be as awesome.
I think you are confusing the term "donation" with "paid". This is not a paid product. By "donation" I mean you would offer what you feel the product is worth. If you don't find any worth in the features it provides you then you don't offer any money.

If every person who used it donated just $1 this would make all the difference in the world. The idea behind donating is you pay what you feel it is worth. If you don't see any worth in it you don't pay anything. If you feel its worthy you pay what you can afford. A poor student might only have $5, but a high end gold farmer might be able to offer considerably more.
well donations are kind of differend with all the "donator versions" of maly profiles/plugins/ and routines in this forum. if you release your plugin for free you are going to get less donations just because peaple can use it for free and dont feel the need to donate. but that is of cause your decision. i would love to donate to support your constant great work =)

That is precisely the topic I was trying to discuss here, "If I released this would people donate?". And so far it is a resounding YES! I am fully aware of all the paid versions of combat routines and botbases available. Good or bad, I said from day one that I would release Farmer Joe free of charge and it would not be a paid for use botbase. I understand that by doing so I will receive less in monetary rewards than had it been a private paid product. But I never developed this with money in mind. I had a need and I wrote something to fulfill that need.
I would like to see it in action as alot of others before posting any donations. However, I do have all the respect to you fpsware to take up this case, and make an improved gathering farmer. But again, I would like to see if it really is as good as GB2. I know I have been lucky with my accounts so far, but they are running 12+hr per day each one, and lasted for a year. So i'm a bit concerned about what FarmerJoe have to offer me, compared to GB2. I'd like to test it out, and I can bring back some feedback if you want, if you feel like I can't contribute in any matter, it is fine aswell, just give me a simple "No".

I am hesitant at "buying" third party content here. There has been a couple times I have bought a routine or such and then the author stops updating. However, when I try things out, even if its a free version that's missing paid features, if its really good and does things that hb doesnt then I always try to donate.
I really think a poll like this is inconclusive. One person said he'd have to see it to know whether he'd donate...he gets beta. Magically a bunch of mirror posts follow it. What I see is a bunch of people saying they -would- donate...but have you received 61 donations, FPS? Imo, pony up, boys!
Can you add randomly looking at the map while flying, as this is what I do when farming by hand not sure if anyone else does.
I said you will get the full pleasure of 50 bucks once it is done. So, as soon as my first char is rolling with the free release and will look sexy, you'll get your donation. What I say will be done for sure.
Sometimes its best to keep things private, so a donation is needed to get a piece of software, I dont use GB due to the ban rate it has and how many leaches are using it along with all the chinese gold farmers, But its up to the dev to say ya or na to making it private. All the dedication and hard work on something that has taken time and a lot of effort should be paid for, you are working hard and long hours so you should get paid for it. That is why you are asking for donations correct, once it goes fully public you wont see much. Ive been there done that. I guess the way I think with things like this is that the more that use it the more of a chance of getting banned with it but that is not alway 100%
The only two i've donated for on this forum are Tuanha and Mirabis. Until this botbase is proven to be WAY better than using gb2, I won't be opening up my checkbook. I definitely would not pay while its in its beta phase. that would be like me (as a hairstylist) asking the client to pay and tip me before they get to see what their hair looks like. I DO believe in donating to people, who do amazing things that benefit my every day botting experience. So try asking for donations once the botbase is done and better than GB2
