Keep in mind FPSware didn't "ask for donations"... he clearly stated that he is trying to judge whether or not people would be inclined to donate to a project like this once it goes public.

Well, if I understand you question then you are asking for a donation in order to use your Botbase. If that's right, then my answer is: No, I wouldn't. I'm against donating to project in order to use them. If your botbase is great and I can see that you have spend a lot of time developing it, then I would consider donating. But I think it's wrong to call it a donation in this situation, I would call it buying. If your Botbase is good, then buying it wouldn't be a problem, but I wouldn't call it donating. Donating to a project shouldn't be a requirement to use it. I hope you don't get me wrong, as I like your projects and I'm not trying to say that your product isn't worth a donation. I'm looking forward to see this botbase in action properly and hopefully test it myself (If you release a lite version or something).
keep in mind i answered his question as well. but asking about money this early in a project is kindof pointless. of course people will donate for a good program, granted they can USE it
From seeing all and tested most of your other work FPSWare, I would defently consider a donation after giving this botbase a whirl. Since I only do have one (1) account, and it's my main account, I don't want to use anykind of botbase I don't trust or consider to be secure.
You are terribly wrong. He never said anything about donating being a pre-requisite for you to have access to Farmer Joe, he even stated otherwise in this very thread. It was clearly stated not only in this thread that Farmer Joe will be fully released for free once it's done. Not only that, but he's not asking for donations RIGHT NOW, he's asking if people would donate once it's good, complete and out there.
This is incorrect. He is asking if people would donate after he releases it. Maybe even a TuanHa styled free version that works perfectly fine and a "special" edition that's like 10% more efficient or something. Or maybe allows you to post to the AH or something.

If what you made is GOOD people that HAVE money will appreciate and donate . ppl that don't have money will appreciate (but will not donate) , maybe in a future project they will. So what if he is, I would be to if I spent so much time on it, do you work for free. Like someone said he should release a limited version and have a donator version I know people who buy my software get a lot more advantages of using it over the free one. This forum is full of leeches and that is all.

This hints that you don't understand what Farmer Joe is supposed to do. It's supposed to make it impossible for Blizzard to recognize botters based on patterns in their farming. It's not just a collection of farming profiles. It mentions being able to tell it how far to land before walking to the node, and even being able to tell it when to go AFK for a while to make it look like you're a person that got up to use the bathroom or something.

well, ur stuff is always of the highest quality.. but before i'd buy/donate, i'd like to have some kind of trial edition? or just a beta release - no hate people! it's just my opinion
