having the same problems. moving to npc about 100 yards too high and constantly dropping out of mount and falling to death. deepholme seems severly broken. uldum and hyjal not as bad but still glitchy. not posting logs since im sure ill be told to re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-install clean hb for the millionth time. even though im not doing anything to it to break it in the first place.

Profile doesn't pick up the right quests and just sits there instead.

Hi, so I've been running these profiles for the last week or two, and I have been constantly having problems with the Honorbuddy just sitting there waiting until I moved and then it would get back on track. It might have been sitting for 2 hours, or 5 minutes, I'm really not sure. However, with Hellfire Peninsula and now with Hyjal, it is failing at trying to pick up quests, and goes to a place where there is no actual quest to pickup. I attached the log of my character trying to pick up the quest in an area where I have no quests. Also, this is the first time I entered Hyjal, and I have no completed any other quests in the zone. Thanks again

Level 75 Horde DK. Using the 68-80 pack. Grizzly Hills.

Encountered an issue when inbetween these quests:

See You on the Other Side - Quest - World of Warcraft
Chill Out, Mon - Quest - World of Warcraft

It completes the first one, and then picks up the second one, however, it's still "in the land of the dead", and so can't interact properly with anything. Evidenced by having the following aura (On the Other Side - Spell - World of Warcraft).

It needs to speak to the NPC (Gan'jo - NPC - World of Warcraft) and select the first GossipOption "I wish to return to the land of the living" which will remove this Aura and let things continue.

I ended up doing it manually while trying to figure out the problem, so unfortunately can't test, but pretty sure a simple interactwith (maybe in a loop to ensure that aura goes away) would do the trick.

It's around line 7663 in the profile:

Code:
<If Condition="HasQuest(12121) && IsQuestCompleted(12121)">
<TurnIn QuestName="See You on the Other Side" QuestId="12121" TurnInName="Gan'jo" TurnInId="26924" X="4835.465" Y="-4755.643" Z="32.51737" />
<PickUp QuestName="Chill Out, Mon" QuestId="12137" GiverName="Gan'jo" GiverId="26924" X="4835.465" Y="-4755.643" Z="32.51737" />
</If>
<!-- Suggest adding code here to speak to the NPC and ensure that aura 61611 is removed... -->

Hope this helps,

Hello all, I spent a solid 9 hrs last night dying and running back to die again. After a complete clean install and cache clear (including the recommended 5min wait time for server side caching) the bot started out killing mobs by itself, but then once it arrived at a questing area the bot stopped attacking. Completely. I'm running Questing with Kick's 1-90 Mega Profile Pack. I'm currently in Tunaris at level 45. I've done a few quests manually to see if I could just push through the issue or not, to no avail. Here's my log (the sudden burst of FAILED is me spamming buttons just to get in the clear. When I interact this way, if I change targets to an enemy that is alive, the bot auto targets the original enemy (now dead).

You'll need to attach a log so that you can get help.

I'm new to this kind of thing and I'm sorry in advance if this is the wrong place to ask, but I've encountered an issue with Honorbuddy in combination with this profilepack.

I've tried to look through the settings, enabling kiting and making sure disengage is allowed to make for a safe escape, but it doesn't work. My character will charge into a group of 2-3 mobs and just stand there until she dies. Is there a way to make the character actually disengage combat and move to another area if there's a pack of 3 mobs at the current location?

Hi, Mr_Xm2, and thanks for the report and log.

I've captured the issue with the The Only Homes We Have - Quest - World of Warcraft quest to Known Bugs List: Cata 80-85.

As to your second issue of "hitting the roof", I was unable to analyze the problem since only one log was attached (the same log was attached twice), and I was unable to locate the problem in that log.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, H4xxor, and many thanks for the log, and especially that screenshot.

It looks like your Honorbuddy installation hiccuped...

[18:55:37.592 D] System.Exception: Nur ein Teil der ReadProcessMemory- oder WriteProcessMemory-Anforderung wurde abgeschlossen, at addr: 00000820, Size: 336
at GreyMagic.ExternalProcessMemory.ReadByteBuffer(IntPtr addr, Void* buffer, Int32 count)
...
[18:55:37.592 D] System.Exception: Nur ein Teil der ReadProcessMemory- oder WriteProcessMemory-Anforderung wurde abgeschlossen, at addr: 00000820, Size: 336
at GreyMagic.ExternalProcessMemory.ReadByteBuffer(IntPtr addr, Void* buffer, Int32 count)

Which cascaded into this problem:

[18:56:04.585 D] Failed to properly land and dismount in 15 seconds. Forcing a dismount.
...
[18:56:40.062 D] Failed to properly land and dismount in 15 seconds. Forcing a dismount.

...
[18:57:51.295 D] Failed to properly land and dismount in 15 seconds. Forcing a dismount.
...

It appears that your Honorbuddy is no longer properly communicating with the WoWclient. The only ways I know to correct this are:
• Restart the WoWclient and Honorbuddy
• If no joy, reboot your machine
If still no joy, please make a new thread in the Support forum, and see if they can assist with the problem. The issue is not profile-related.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Vegeta666,

This thread's purpose is to capture and repair bugs with the profiles, or assist users with their problems in using the profiles. Your post falls into neither category.

If you're not going to let us have a look at the problem (via a full log attached), we simply cannot assist you. However, it seems, you already know how to repair your issue?so, archiving your post.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Kaelhoel, and many thanks for the log.

[19:12:21.701 N] Error trying to save the settings file: The requested operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open.

We cannot chase errors in the profile pack until your Honorbuddy installation is working correctly. A malfunctioning Honorbuddy is the most likely cause of your navigating into lava instead of around it. The issue can also be caused by the Combat Routine using special abilities (like "Disengage") that is getting you killed in such areas. In any case, this is not a profile issue.

Please open a new thread in the Support forum, and get them to work with you in correcting this problem with the settings file. After this is corrected, we can try to isolate if its a navigational issue, or a combat routine getting you in trouble.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi, Wullie!

Thank you once again for the detailed problem report and awesome analysis!

I've captured your problem report Known Bugs List: LK 68-80. Since it involves a gossip option, I'm unwilling to try a 'blind fix' for this, and will have to get a toon back into the area to effect repair.

cheers & many thanks again!

Hi, Goninkedup,

As a guess from your problem description, it sounds like your Honorbuddy installation is borked. If you'd like to try repairing, this article should help:

You should also make certain your caches are clean while you're there:

If no joy, there is absolutely no chance of helping you without a full log that captures the problem attached. Please see the guide for Reporting Problems or Seeking Assistance.

cheers,
