HB ARCHIVES: Honorbuddy Profile Pack--DO NOT DELETE!

The profile is coded for well above 15, you just need to remove the "STOP!" line and it should go past level 15, albeit with issues still lingering. Overall point being, this is a questing profile and not a grind profile, so while it's not supported past level 15 (but hopefully will be soon, since it's been several months), it's still a questing profile. I understand your point and agree with you that 15+ support is long overdue.

What's wrong with the mailbox in Valliance Keep ?

When you start the profile, he goes selling in Valliance Keep, and then he want to mail. Mount his ground mount instead of flying mount) and walk the whole way to Nessingwary Base Camp in Sholazar Bassin to find a Mailbox !

 

I use today [A - Fly] Candy Buckets - Kalimdor [Kick] and when bot done i noticed that he missed one bucket in Darnassus, Craftsmen's terrace 61.33 coords

I would strongly recommend removing that ForceSetVendor until the HB "two-mailbox" bug is fixed. It will *always* fail and start a loop going between the two mailboxes flying back and forth.

I understand it's not a profile issue per se, but at the same time it's a known bug that is very very likely to cause reports if people aren't watching the bot at the time. I realise it's probably a fine line that must be walked in terms of when to modify the profile to work around HB bugs, and when to just leave things be, but I hope you agree that this one lands on the "should" side of that line...

 

Really weird thing just happened, my char just jumped off a cliff in Deepholm and died. Looking at the log i see why. It says it was mounted on a drake but in fact it was on an elk hence the death, i know because i watched it jump! lol. maybe the id's are wrong. here the last part of the log anyways View attachment Deepholm quests.zip Hope it helps.

 

Hi, I have experienced two problems with two different toons, lately.

One is a leve 45 Hunter in Tanaris, seems like the profile is not calling Singular to fight, so the bot just runs through the mobs and if I wouldn't for the pet on Defensive it would have died.

The other is a level 81 Warrior in Mount Hyjal, on the quest Those Bears Up There where you have to save 6 bear cubs from the trees by throwing them to the trampoline.

Still running the profile, very sweet that i have not encountered a single stuck/bug in outland!!!

Good catch... I tried continue quest -profile and found several place where it will not continue with "Current" winterbuddy Profile options so WinterBuddy is fairly stable and ... how I can do Quest if "UsePortal" not work?

How stupid me I are, play by hand thats why I have Bot!

 

I'm sorry to post two times in a few hours but I left the bot questing while watching tv and from time to time I came back at the pc to check in.
Fist of all, the character died multiple times while performing the quest Children of Tortolla, I watched it gather the corpse and run straight to the eggs, without fighting the mobs guarding them. Since I figured out it was at least the third time he died, I helped him out and so he went on.
Then, after a while, I have found it stuck in Mount Hyjal trying to get to Sethira's Roost for completing a quest. Funny thing was that the first time the game was disconnected, so I logged in, brought the character on top of the cliff and then started the bot; the second time, instead, I have found the bot stopped and the character standing still on a ground mount. I started it again and it all went on.

Hey guys,

My 46 toon gets stuck in Tanaris. I've tried doing a few quests manually and then re-starting HB, but it doesn't fix the problem.
My toon just runs up to a mob and stands there till he dies


If someone could help, that would be great !

Aye, Flightor still has issues in a few areas. The profile was flying to the hunting grounds to complete the The Scent of Battle - Quest - World of Warcraft quest. And again, navigational issues such as this are not problems with the profile.

There is not anything the profile can do to help with problems such as this?the problem is within Honorbuddy itself.

You are also experiencing a lot of this in your log:

This means that Honorbuddy is unable to reliably communicate with the WoWclient. The only solutions I know to repair this are to try restarting Honorbuddy & the WoWclient. If no joy, try rebooting your machine.

It appears the LUA execution failed at a very low level (Honorbuddy to WoWclient communication). It appears that both the profile and the PeformTradeskillOn behavior are operating correctly (i.e, PerformTradeksillOn behavior is used several times in this profile, and it doesn't fail in the other places). But since no exceptions were thrown, we don't have a corrective action for you to try.

We run the DK starter profile all the time to test behaviors and changes to Honorbuddy. It is an excellent testbed for many things. However, we've never seen it fail like you describe (and your log shows). I've captured the issue to Known Bugs List: Classic 1-58, but the first step to fixing it is to see if we can replicate it (which we haven't been able to to date).

$Rev$ is not a valid profile revision number. Please use Obtaining a Copy of the Profiles to acquire a cohesive copy of the profiles in the pack.


But, ignoring that for the while, it looks like the profile is looking for appropriate mobs to complete the Clear the High Road - Quest - World of Warcraft quest. The mobs are sparse and scattered all over Nagrand.

Hi, Coeptis, and welcome aboard.

Indeed, if you start using the profile pack from a zone other than what the profile expects, then this will confuse any profile. People frequently get in trouble with this by questing in a zone—such as Deepholm—then moving the toon to Orgrimmar to sell/auction/etc, then log. When they log back in and start using Honorbuddy, the profile expects the toon to be in Deepholm and this causes problems.

Honorbuddy does not do inter-continental/inter-zone travel natively. Instead, the profile must assist Honorbuddy in making this transitions. Profile cannot do such travel 'on demand', but only at key points. The profile directives to accomplish inter-continental/inter-zone travel are complex.

So, for your situation, you may have to help Honorbuddy get back to where the profile wants to see the toon. This is determined by the toon's quest state, and the profile you have loaded.

Our copies of the Hyjal profile differ slightly, and I was unable to find out where they diverged. Your have the Objective inside an <If> element, and the 'latest' seems to have it outside.

But either way, I've folded your changes into v2806.

Your Honorbuddy is having issues communicating with the WoWclient.

The only 'fix' I know for this is to first try restarting Honorbuddy and the WoWclient. If no joy, then reboot your machine.

Hi, Phyxios, and thanks for the report.

From the quest, it appears that multiple mob types will fulfill a particular quest objective. The profile has already identified one particular mob that fulfills the objective, and my guess is you were looking at others that also will fulfill the objective.

However, the Honorbuddy "killmob" variant of <Objective> only allows us to specify one MobId for the objective.

I'm going to guess this is just a 'sub-optimal profile' problem, and the quest would've completed just fine had the profile been allowed to run uninterrupted.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to address this issue at the moment without completely overhauling the profiles. Honorbuddy doesn't give us an easy way to handle 'phasing' for vendors, and there is a considerable amount of complicated code that has to be added to the profile to make it work within the current Honorbuddy-provided machinery.

Honorbuddy should blacklist the missing vendor after a short period of time, and move on to the next closest one. As such, this problem is not a high priority. However, I have captured the issue to the Known Bugs List: Classic 1-58 so it doesn't get lost.

If the 'vendor blacklisting' functionality is not working, you should report that to the Release thread, or Honorbuddy Bug Reports thread.

Without a log file, all we can do is guess. As a guess, I'm going to say your Honorbuddy is outdated, and you need to do a 'clean install'. Instructions here:
