Well recently Blizzard changed their Battlechests to have Cataclysm, so paying $5 for a few accounts and using this method would be worth it. For this you're going to need: Jewelcrafting - 500 Enchanting - 500 Mining - 500 - optional What you'll be doing is making rings and necks, and then simply disenchanting them to sell the dust and essences. The current price of [Elementium Ore] on my server was around 47g per stack. But the current price of [Pyrite Ore] was about 10g per stack. But since I had a miner, I decided I would just set up a bot to farm Uldum all night. Theres very little competition. I could get plenty of ore doing this. So after you get the Ore, you would have to start prospecting it, which is long and boring, so I would recommend using a key presser or bot. You'll notice you will be getting uncommon and rare gems. You'll be using both. After you have prospected all the Elementium and Pyrite, you'll have to start making rings and necks. Here is what you'll make with each gem: Code: Alicite - Alicite Pendant Nightstone - Nighstone Choker Hessonite - Hessonite Band Jasper - Jasper Ring For the Zephryrite, you can either vendor them, AH them and hope they sell, or transmute them to make an Ocean Sapphire. Carnelian - Carnelian Spikes (fist weapon) After you've created all of that, you'll then have to disenchant it all. The rings and necks usually get [Hypnotic Dust], and the [Carnelian Spikes] get [Lesser Celestial Essence]. The main thing you want is [Hypnotic Dust]. Just right click the [Lesser Celestial Essence] to make [Greater Celestial Essence]. And that's it for Enchanting. Just put everything up on the Auction House. I sell my dust anywhere between 250g - 300g. It always sells, its needed to level Enchanting. The [Greater Celestial Essence] usually sells for 90g per stack. Now, for the rare gems. You'll need one of each to make [The Perforator], a total of 6 gems to make one weapon. This weapon vendors for 24g, you can simply craft a bunch, and then vendor them to make some easy gold. You can also look at the AH, any gem under 4 gold is profit. 3 gold is ideal. You can just buy all the cheap gems and make more weapons, making an even greater profit. The gems are: Code: [COLOR="#008000"]Green Emerald[/COLOR] [COLOR="#0000FF"]Ocean Sapphire[/COLOR] [COLOR="#FF0000"]Inferno Ruby[/COLOR] [COLOR="#FFD700"]Amberjewel[/COLOR] [COLOR="#FFA500"]Ember Topaz[/COLOR] [COLOR="#4B0082"]Demonseye[/COLOR] Of course, you can sell all the Volatiles you get from farming in Uldum, as they usually sell for 100g for a stack of volatiles. I've been using this method to make all my gold. I hope this helped someone.
This sounds really nice! I've been trying to look for ways to make good gold only using cataclysm, been trying some hardcore silk farming, but it's just too slow, only nets around 600g/h. How much do you net per hour of botting using this method?
I wanna make something like that but automatic, I Bought 5 accounts (25$) leveling right now on dungeonbuddy with raf , Sunday the five characters will be level 80, I will make a guild for all, and im thinking on leave 2 bots mining/herbing 24/7 , I dont mind they get banned only are 5$ each, and leave the another 3 toons on AH , one with alchemy and inscription , and two with enchant & JC like OP says, but dont know any updated profile that take mats from Gbank and shuffle enchant/jc and sells it with ahbot, do you know any?
How could I not think of this sooner!? Hypnotic dust is STUPID expensive. 5$ or not, you shouldn't just throw it away like it. There is tons of money to be made from it!
Theres a lot of things you can do with this. If there are still $5 accounts, you could have multiple toons farming multiple things. You could have a Embersilk cloth farmer, skinner, herbalism and mining. It doesnt just have to be mining for JC.
But if it makes the most money with less work, it's the way to go. Hypnotic dust sells REALLY high and good!
Yeah, its like 350-450g on my server, I can usually control the price since no one else posts it and its needed badly. Theres no way around it.
Nice post. Thinked about trying making gold with cata itens. But my old profile to farm on Uldum all dont work anymore. My toon just flying to Un Goro i dont know why >.< five profiles same problem. Still same problem with fresh HB.
After get that profiles the problem still... So i install fresh HB again and now working well. Ty so much =)
