Since you've mentioned MM support in your tests, you may want to add the KickMyDog PQR profile. MM support and it pulls very good numbers. Thanks for all your work!
so oposing raidbots.com you do more dps with SV than BM? you think bossdummy is different to real bosses? i get like 20k dps more with SV on the dummy with "bullseye" at ilvl 533. this is insane.
553 IL here on trainning dummy(single target) puling 235k as BM 223k as surv 250k as mm using tuan hunter special edition no food buff for flask used prepot and pot.. still think BM better since MM have 100% crit with aimed if argethave more then 70% hp think i will test BM on raids
Raid bots is not accurate, it simply gives a summary of the top parses for each fight from world of logs and assigns points. Fewer parses means lower score. In 'real life' SV tends to be higher for almost every fight, except Garrosh. For a lot of hunters, once you get gear, MM is doing great. Don't rely on Raidbots, do your own sims.
MM won't give an accurate test on a dummy due to how you are supposed to play during the Careful Aim phase.
In my post I mention this. The tests are done WITHOUT RAID BUFFS and therefore inaccurate (in balance) between what you see solo and what you would see in a raid.
The next time I do a big test I will. So far I would say KMD (modded for auto stampede) is #1 for SV (4p t16) -- PureRotation is also good for SV as is Bullseye. As for BM Soapbox/Bullseye are the best out there right now. KMD is pretty awful at it in my brief testing thusfar.
In the ability editor for PQR: Code: if not IsPlayerSpell(121818) then return false end if UnitExists("target") then return true end
That disables pushdown and just does it on cooldown. I have rapid fire and stampede on cooldown, not right shift.
Updated w/ 566 ilevel & updated routines. Tests took me over 3 hours to complete, significantly longer than just testing BM Since I've been asked in PMs, here is my test method: > Clear all cache for WoW (C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment & my WoW folder), install a fresh copy of Honorbuddy & PQR > Double check all my routines for updates via SVN > Load up WoW + Honorbuddy/PQR > Check to see that I have no external buffs > Activate the in-game stopwatch the second I begin attacking a target dummy > Keep WoW in the foreground until 5 minutes have passed > Press my screenshot button the second the stopwatch hits 5:00 > Stop the CR, feign death, cease all in-game activity for an additional 5 minutes > Switch specs, reload UI, reload honorbuddy/PQR, repeat. If I screw anything up I have to wait another 5-10 min before testing again. It's quite time consuming. I will also re-test if a certain run seems to be low (DPS-wise).
Can you share your purerotation settings please? Do you use automatic mode, Semi, or hot-key mode etc? What settings do you use :3
Hotkey mode. Ctrl (Modifier) 1-No numpad (Cooldowns) 2-No numpad (AoE) 3-No numpad (toggle CR on/off) 4-No numpad (Special) Settings are mostly default, interrupt turned off, quasi-aoe settings to 2 or 3. Lynx rush turned off (not that it matters).
TuanHA Hunter Special Edition says not to enable framelock and you had it enabled maybe that would change up your results
