Question about 5.4.1 patch

I was just reading up on the new patch that hits the US tomorrow and was wondering if its going to have a huge effect on how long the bot it down. I know Im prob just starting a wild fire at this point but still its a concern and so i turn to u devs. Its likely i'll be told to STFU, go for a walk, or play on my own as many of our botting members like to harshly say from time to time. But Im just asking a simple question and a "yes" or "no" will suffice just fine for me and devs can close this thread when "They" have answered. Thanks for all the hard work u guys put in and i look forward to using the bot more.

 

From what I've read on the blue posts, patch 5.4.1 changes a few spell tooltips, adds a gimmick for in-game RaF and combines all the previous patches into one file. All background stuff. Downtime on the bot should be minimal.

Keep in mind that we don't know everything in a patch until the live patch files arrive.
Since this patch is a smaller one, you should only expect downtime to be 23-29 days.

I'm kidding. It will probably be a day or two, but you never know.

Ive learnt to capitalize on the honorbuddy downtime. Cause HB always take a while to get going after a patch update, I farm like a machine the week before the patch release and horde everything.

Then when the patch comes out I sell everything on the AH during the down time. Prices go up because of the lack of botting. Its also an awesome time to PvP where you dont have 80% of your team spoiling the game by botting.

 

23-29days are you serious? I love how its advertised 99% uptime, ive had the bot for 3 months now and with all the downtime i doubt its even 60%

Where do you see this mythical "99% uptime" advertisement? Show us the log, or it didn't happen.

Silly question all but I'm trying to find the link to the HB Beta as that seems to work quicker post patch than the regular HB. I've been searching all over, help me Obi Swan!

All you people throwing around the 99% uptime without knowing what you're talking about....................

99% advertised uptime is for the authentication servers, not the bot itself!

PS - you should also read better, it was a joke post.

 

For the record, if you have had the bot for 3 months now aug-sep-oct, 60% uptime means that the bot has been down almost 37 days, and if you think about it, thats not even close to the truth..
