I got a problem.. im lvl 68 (A) starting to Q in Northrend, he went form SW to valiance keep, and runs straight to Sergent hammerhill (and he doesnt give any Q's) the Bot keeps talking to him and them close the window and repeat over and over until it Disconnect. what can the problem be?

Hey Kick or any Dev working on this profile, please remove the vendor NPC "Maktu" from [Fly][A - Quest] BC 58-70 [Kick].xml. I'm doing it manually on every SVN update because that NPC can be neutral at earlier quests and the bot just gets stuck trying to repair when near him, removing his vendor line fixes it : Maktu - NPC - World of Warcraft

I'll be waiting for this update on the SVN files Thank you.

We're unwilling to make this change. The only way you'd be going to that vendor is if you've somehow managed to bypass some content that acquired the necessary rep to make it friendly.

Honorbuddy does not allow profiles to 'qualify' vendors with tags such as 'rep level'. If you don't have appropriate standing, Honorbuddy should be blacklisting the vendor, and moving to the next closest one.

That vendor is the only one for that 'half' of the zone, and we're unwilling to remove him, as he is incredibly useful once you are friendly. But, thanks for the suggestion. Maybe we can use it to push a feature request again that we have been (internally) asking for.

Thanks for the reply chinajade, unfortunately your sentence saying "Honorbuddy should be blacklisting the vendor, and moving to the next closest one." is infact not working during the latest version.

The only reason i guess that made the bot go there before the profile goes into friendly rep, is that i started with a DK and didn't gather enough money to buy a flying mount in the profile, so the bot went on horse in zangarmarsh, and may have changed the course of the intended travel route...

In other terms, you can keep that vendor in the profile (and i get to remove that line on each new update) : despite your explanation, i see no reason why it needs to be kept. Because travelling some distance wouldn't really be an issue, it's just an additional comfort with some little time gained, but being stuck in a endless loop in front of that vendor is sadly a bad issue. And just because the moment i removed the vendor line, the bot just went to sell to another vendor and the profile kept going smooth again.

If the vendor blacklist issue can't be fixed during the next release, could you at least help ease the problem by commenting and keeping that line of code inside the xml profile until the fix is done for example, so that others don't have to get stuck like i did (and it happened to me on more than 2 times at Alliance DK leveling)

I have attached a log where the bot was unable to initiate Pitch at one point. It sits there and idle. I am guessing it has something to do with positioning.

Another problem I have faced is looting quest items. From the same log, the bot was unable to loot Sparksocket's Tools. It seems to me that this is a quest behaviour problem. It happened a couple of times but I wasn't able to catch it.

 

Been having issues leveling with questing for a while now it's great when it's not bugging out got about 18 toons to 90 with these profiles so far but What cc's / plugins are people using while you level!? I see people saying that only have about 6-7 /days played once 90? Could really use some insight I've tried using other cc's and using the movement plugin but always seems to bug out worse then singular although I notice singular avoids certain spells completely while leveling but anyway. All of my toons have taken MUCH longer than 6-7 days. Thanks to anyone that tosses any tips/advice/experience my way. Oh and yeah I clear my HB cache now and then but is there certain points I need to do that to make the profiles more effective?

It says the profiles are broking now after the HB update. Are you guys working on it? Cus right now it says it has too many errors to even start the profile.

Honorbuddy "Loading titles"? Problem

Having this problem with honorbuddy profile: [Fly][N - Quest] Deepholm 82-84 [Kick] (Dont think it's the profiles problem.) Saying "Loading titles" 90% of the leveling so it lvls realy slow, my internet is no problem with that (Speedtest.net by Ookla - My Results)

If this is the case, then please report the problem to the Honorbuddy Bug Reports thread, or the Release thread. Honorbuddy is supposed to blacklist vendors from which it cannot get satisfaction.

I recently saw this 'vendor blacklisting' operating correctly when trying to buy food. Perhaps there is a quirk with respect to faction standing that need to be investigated. If you choose to report the bug, they will probably need your log, and giving them the 'faction standing' hint may make the problem easier to find and repair.

You should probably also know...
due to your post, we were able to use it to push our feature request through. Unfortunately, the new feature is not available in the test release, so we can't alter the profiles to use it yet.

It appears you have modified Kick's profiles, and caused the failure.

Kick's profiles do not ever modify the TicksPerSecond attribute. Please revert your changes, and all should be good.

As you surmised, it is an HBcore issue, but I'm not certain why its happening. I've got this problem in front of the development team at the moment.

The only work-around I can think of is to do a couple of quests manually. Hopefully, this will remove the need to fly to that particular location/quest-giver, and advance you past the problem area.

The whole event took 7 seconds. We believe you saw something awry, but the log does not reflect it. Alas, at this point, we've nothing to act on.


An another note...
You've reported a number of quirky problems that seem to work for everyone else. This leads me to suspect there is something wrong with your Honorbuddy installation. Perhaps its time to do a 'clean install'. If you decide to do such, the instructions are here:

Hi! I was using HonorBuddy (with Kick's of course) and it was working brilliantly for awhile. I then switched characters, and it still worked. The bot was picking up, doing, and turning in quests. But then when I switched back to the original character, the bot would fly over East of Kaskala (Borean Tundra) and just kill mobs. Forever. I restarted HonorBuddy, manually completed some quests, but it would keep flying back to the spot and grinding mobs.

I'm using the Profile - [Fly][H - Quest] LK 68-80 [Kick]

Whenever I start the bot it says "[UserSettings-v501(warning) @line 1616]: Attribute 'UseFlightPaths' is not recognized by this behavior--ignoring it." I'm not sure that's the route of the problem but just some information I thought'd I put out there.
