Honorbuddy start up error

I fully realize that HB is down, but generally I can get to the point where it would perform an update if the release was pushed.

Instead I'm just getting this error.

Any ideas? Or is this due to the patch today?

There isn't an update to download and the offsets for the game have changed due to a patch.

You've been here 3 years and you don't understand that the bot is down due to a patch?

Normally when there is an update (which is acknowledged in the first sentence) HB will attach then say that there is a version mismatch. Generally when a new update is pushed it will then download it and restart. The question was - is this error patch related, or unrelated.

This, however, is a different kind of error. You should probably read before you go all tweentard on someone.

 

What it really comes down to is the bot doesn't work, and you should know that....

Who cares if the message it's displaying is different? You know it doesn't work, and you know it won't work at least for a few hours at a bare minimum.

If you're still getting the same message in a week after you know the bot is functioning, then maybe you'll have cause for concern.

 

Im Right There with you just watching Forums for new update because there is a small chance we might have to download it our self's. At the moment tho Ghost iron ore was never so plentiful ! With no one out here farming im making 1 stack in less then 30 seconds

 

everytime wow patches now it changes reverts back to 64 bit, make sure that you are running x86

 

You're right - I double checked though , it's running the x86 process.

I'm not sure where else to post this. I don't have a start up error its saying I have a build #0 and my version only supports build #15595. If anyone could tell me what this mean it'd be great.

 

I would just wait, it isnt working due to the patch. Once it is updated I would worry about it then.

 

This is the normal error you should receive when a new patch comes out.

It's telling you that your build of honorbuddy isn't compatible with WoW (due to the patch) - this error means that the offsets need to be update and a new HB will be released soon. When the offsets are updated your HB should work fine.

 

How is it, that these clueless people come out of the woodwork after every single patch/hotfix?

 

I realize this is normal after a new patch.

However, my HB just updated again (today). Figured that was the fix for 5.4.1, but it's still unable to attach. Just thought I'd mention it in case after the HB update it is working for others?

 

completely new and didnt even notice the patch till someone mentioned it and then realised that's why it wasn't working....Doh moment but know for future now lol
