Hey guys, I just re-subbed to WoW again after quitting, and I just wanted to know how things are lately Is it still safe to bot as much as we used to do? or do we have to limit our times now and be more careful? are bans happening now more often? update me please !
The ban section clearly does not indicate anything to me as they could have been banned for any reason [snitched, bad setup, too much afk time] I'd like to know real forum thought about its safety level at the moment thats all
seems like more bans than before, but i havent been here long. I was a pretty good d3 botter though. Bans here come here like freaking nobodys business it seems. I could bot d3 24hrs a day for weeks til i got banned.
I would not go 24/7, but monitored few hours a day seems to be safe. Been at it for a couple years now with only a couple minor infractions.
To make money hell no its not worth it. Bot itself is buggy as all hell not flawless like it used to be back before the buddy team worked on 8 different bots at the same time. But for personal use i believe you are pretty safe to use. as long as you keep a eye on the bot 75% of the time. The buddy teams been working on fixing the bugs for past year they made slight improvements so far but still a ton of work needed to be completely safe. Plus blizzard put in new detection system that tracks how many times you take the same route over and over dont know much about it in detail but i know lot of people cant bot for more than 2-3 weeks before getting auto-banned from it when trying to use gatherbuddy. but buddy team implemented a randomization option which helps avoid that detection. Only if the buddy team would stop making bots for unknown games no one plays and focus on the bot that made them the money ^_^ Before they started making all these random bots Honorbuddy was perfect not a single problem to be found almost it was great but with the law suit and all that going on i guess that is making them swim around for money :\ unfortunate events but they trying there best

Well I got pm'ed yesterday by a GM and he asked me if I was "AFK playin?" and I said "yes, The last thing I want to do when I come home from a 12 hour work day is grinding to level 1 or 2 times". And he said ok. And I woke up this AM and my account is still online.
It's obviously still a top thread and people are still going to ask thing about it. IQ must be down the drain.
