All within seconds of each other about 5 minutes ago I was kicked offline quest botting on all of them. The perma banned account had been used for gathering profiles about 5 months ago it was inactive for about 2 and recently all I've done was questbot/raid. 1 account was literally ONLY Questbotting and raiding with cr's. The last and my MAIN account was only Raiding. That's the honest truth for my main account nothin but Cr's have ever been used on it. Sucks I totally lost one account I've never filed an appeal if anyone has some suggestions on how to go about it with the best luck of getting the account back that would be great! Anyways just thought I'd share my accounts where banned and what I used on each one of them. If its your 1st offense contact support, say sorry blah blah and you may get it reduced to 72 as I did, but if it's not your 1st then.... goodluck...
I think it's got a 72 hour before actually it was while the account was in active of all things lolz Hmmm... So just put a ticket in ? Saying sorry?? like " I'm really sorry I was using it I'll never do it again *butterfly kisses* <3! May I please has 72 hour and not perma banned? " lol na but seriously I'm blank on what to even say about it to them and if I need to call or put a ticket in?
I contacted support via live chat, they seem to be a bit nicer. just asked why you where banned and could you get it reduced?
I guess you should never admit using the bot, that was people usually says here. For the number of posts of old gather accounts getting banned, it seems they are cleaning the flagged accounts list. It's time to lay low, I believe.
Yeah I've never had issues till now all I do is really quest I've on used GB to level up the gathering profs not to actually farm max level mats at any point either and I never posted shit on ah I used all I gathered to level eng and jc'ing on the account that got perma banned Tend to stay away from AH because I thought it got the most people banned but hey idk put the ticket in hopefully I can get the last account brought down to a 72 hour suspension and not a full on ban :/
And I agree with that statement completely I thought it was just people doing stupid stuff then just blaming it on something as unskettchy as quest botting but def wrong can tell ya from what just happened to my main account and other account questing or CR's are getting ya banned too atm not sure how but only ever used GB or Grindbot on one account and its the one that's perma banned.
same one of mine got a72 hour and all I've done on that one is questbot and us CR's in raid ect. the other account that got 72 hours never even used quest bot it's my "main" account super paranoid about it but not enough it looks like lol for now it seems it'll probably clear up in time though.

That way making it easy to see what people were doing leading up to the ban.
When I made a clean install of HB and did questbotting via Kick's, I think I got stuck ALOT of times, and 2 times in the middle of Stormwind, wall humping while at least 3 people were watchng at me. Wish me good luck.

m86, since you told us, you were farming end-game mats by hand, maybe that was some issue on your permabanned account? Since we have quite a few persons here, who was banned for hand gathering herbs and mines for several hours per day.
This is my third banned account on the same Battle.net account for botting (i never tried to appeal any of them before) today, and i went and bought an unbanning service.. the guy wrote an amazing letter for $10 and got my Perma ban to no ban, was able to play right away. I suggest buying an unbanning service, it's really worth it.
This very well may be true but I actually only went out and farmed by hand a few times and each time was an hour or less didn't need much I don't play AH :/
