3 friends were all banned doing nothing but questing on kick's (leveling up). They all got banned while using the Outlands questing profile in particular. Based on the multitude of reports over the last week, I'd say the staff probably need to make an announcement warning the use of Kick's questing profile's until some investigation is done.
Questing bot in general perhaps? Some trigger/behavior only used by questing profiles? Meh, I'm sure they're looking into it.
It's either a pre-blizzcon mini banwave or they've changed something, something which I think would require a rethink on the way I bot on an account... best way to check is the price of gold, if it's gone up recently above normal levels then they're clamping down on everyone not just Honorbuddy users.
it isnt a mini banwave blizzaard invest u when botting got weird quest behavior like target issue zigzag that is what gets it banned they watch you invisibilty they need to check the behavior and fast.
I think it's a combination of things; "Blizzard has their Q3 2013 earnings call today, announcing that WoW is down to 7.6 million subscribers. This is down 100k from the last one that listed WoW at 7.7 million subscribers." 1. Reduction in subscriber base 2. Increase in botters 3. Connected Realms (this may be increasing the banrate) Blizzard has been quite active lately which also may have something to do with it, usually they don't do these types of increased bans till early next year (usually within 6 months they do a fresh attack on botters).
