Prices on my realm have plummeted from 0.4 Euro to 0.26 per 1k... None of the sellers I know what to sell me gamecards or keys because of the prices... and they say all realms are screwed up like this right now. Do you have any ideas why gold value dropped like this? Is it because a new expansion was announced? Should I stockpile my gold and wait for the expansion to start selling? I would appreciate any advice, as I never paid attention what botters selling gold did around the expansions...
Odd I bought GTC's just yesterday for nice low gold price on EU (which usually means gold price is high).
I guess you got me wrong. Before I could sell it for 0.4. Now the price has dropped to 0.26. And in case I got you wrong, who do I sell it to? Do I advertise I am selling gold in the trade channel?
it's called supply and demand and no don't advertise unless you plan on using a virtual server that doesn't use your own ip to track back to you
sounds weird, my "dealer" buys for .47 us atm :S it's ussualy around .7 but i havn't sold gold in a while now
I asked my re-sellers because i was curious to know the fuck is happening as i noticed a huge drop on gold price the last 3 days. He told me that players are MASS selling their stock right after Blizzcon. He noticed a +500% of gold selling from players this weekend. Outland EU was the worse he never seen such behavior, they even didnt accept gold anymore at some point because they thought a dupe was going on. Pretty insane. Now they have too much stock now and demand is completly falling. He think it's because no content ll be added before new xpac and people is mass cashing out + unsubbing. I guess gold price ll continue to down until xpac. Rough day incoming. Dont even know i need to stockpile or mass selling what i got left. Want a free PS4 lol.
@spongebobbot Thanks for your answer. I thought something like this could be the reason, guess people really were expecting something nice to be announced at blizzcon. Look on the bright side. At least Blizzard is trying to pump out the new expansion before Spring, so we won't have to stockpile for too long. But yeah, Blizzard that announced they won't be working on additional content before the new expansion. So 5.4 was the last major patch.
All we need is a true release date. Stockpiling could be a nice idea. Dunno. Do you know if they announced something that can affect economy in a negative way ? All i heard is no new class/ no new races/reforging gone/new models. And new kind of housing = good for the bots if tons of gold is needed
Glad to know this. Are you a resellers? If so did you notice a huge selling wave from players to resellers?
actually I buy at 0.4/k to resell at 0.5/k and I also farm by myself with few accounts.. In the last week I sold for about 230k
Prices were better there. I guess some players xfrered and sold several millions there and now thats why gold price tanked. @Damien, thx for your number.
well, atm i've started to stock up.. rather save up a few millions and then sell them for .7 $ Pr. K than .4
