Hey everyone. So after months of creating a character getting to level 30ish getting board of that character and making a new one, I have decide to look into other ways of leveling whist I'm asleep using my Jedi powers... What I am wondering if this is a viable way to level? and what are the main use for the bot? is this how people are offering power leveling? or is that something completely different? Also does this bot need updating each time the game updates? and if so how fast does the devs get it updated? is the bot even still being developed? I see a lot of crash threads and things like that is the bot more stable now? or does it still crash a lot? and what is the ban rate?
Use the Jedi Powers to read up a bit through the forums and you will find alot of these posts with answers May the Force be with you...
H, I have looked and I find conflicting reports, some people say it works for leveling others say it don't, and what about the other questions I have asked I can find next to little on them. also what does it mean by 1 session for 90 days or 3 sessions for 90 days whats the difference so I brought the 1st really cheap option to see how it works and it crashed now i got max sessions, brought it again same thing and max sessions, is the sessions how many times you can log into the loader? if so I think it's a silly way of doing things. damn!! this bot fights better than me lmao
If you get the "Max session" alert, have a looksee here: Log On - Buddy Auth Portal on that page, if your bot crashes or something similar, you can kill current session, and log in again.
i bought this as i use honour buddy for World Of Warcraft. I find that there is no where near as much support for buddy wing there are hardly any routines and the ones there are dont have many if at all any config options.for eg. you cant CC a mob as no matter wether you left or right click to target you always shoot(ranged) also unless you can write code with some confidence then you cant change things like AoE settings and rotation changes as most class routines are not up to date and usually just do the the main abilities without power up procs or free shots. Its a shame that it does not get as much attention as it big brother HB. also if you read some forums it says that the built in routine Combat is not being maintained anymore so my answer to your Question is NO this is not worth buying. its more expensive than HB as there is not an option like HB to buy it once for ?25 you have to rebuy this for ?9 every 3 months and hope that someone is doing a routine for your class and that it works
Hi Matt/Friday, Just to quickly address some of the issues above: Per combat routines, Walter's and Pure (best at max level) are both up to date, and also customizable per rotation by simply editing the correct section of code. You can find more information about each in their respective threads. As has been mentioned in other threads, the primary issue with BW isn't BW; it's the spaghetti code used to create SWToR, which includes constantly changing memory locations and other roadblocks. The bot devs have stated more than once that the BW code is actually cleaner than the HB code. They are simply limited in large part by the game itself (for example, some quest type interactions cannot be automated properly). Per leveling, a combination of manual questing and bot grinding has worked well for me. Questing, as hinted at above, requires some babysitting for some interactions, so it's up to you whether you would find that preferable to manually questing, or skipping questing altogether. Per the bot's worth, if you want to grind for credits at max level, it's well worth it IMO. For leveling itself, it's NOT hands off, and it works best post level 15, but it's still saved me countless hours in front of my computer screen raising characters to max level. Per bans, the risk has been extremely low over the past year. The bot itself seems to be undetectable. Generally, if you're not reported for making bot like movements (like running into a wall) or being online for 12+ hours at a time, then I'd guess you're fairly safe, although I should note that common sense dictates you NEVER bot on an account you're not willing to lose. In over a year of using BW on multiple accounts, I've only been banned once, and I'm fairly certain it was for one of the reasons mentioned above. I hope this helps, or at least clears up a few misconceptions. Good luck, -D
Thank you for that, anyway it's nice just be able to sit back relax and watch some t.v whist the bot is playing, it's next to impossible to watch t.v and play so it's nice to be able to do both! I am normally online from the moment I wake up to when i go to bed normally over 12 hours so being on for long periods of time should not look suspicious on my account, I do plan on leaving it running over night some nights, but I am 1st watching it for a hour or two to see how many times it gets stuck and where, and to possibly see if i can do anything maybe to improve it
Hey walter could you make a profile for me please? What I am after is 1 profile that will grind the tonton data, so it runs to all the nests does what it needs to do. 2nd a good credit grind location for a lvl 51, I am willing to donate for your work. Both of these for republic p.s would be happy just for the credit farming one.
I will send you a PM later when I get home from work. Just been traveling a lot as of late. FDA meetings are a pita! Walter
Okay thank you. I will await your email, my bot can just grind my lvl 26 sniper on tatooine for now lol
Donating for custom profiles seems like a good idea to me, I might even wanna do it myself, the donating part that is.
if donating to the ppl making the profiles is a way to get them to put some extra work into them then i too think its a good idea.at least it will make them feel like their work is appreciated.
The reason HB has as many quality routines as it does is because there's a handful of people actually getting their time's worth out of it through donations, which is motivating.
