The one profile is someone else's its it is alliance only and when i try to change the vendors to horde and mailbox i just get errors.

I tried to make a grind profile and its fine, but it wont attack mobs, it will only attack mobs if they attack me.

Could someone help me clean up the questing profile to work for horde and force it to fight the mobs somehow ?

Or The grind profile i uploaded could someone fix it up and force it to fight the mobs.

Both profiles work but both profiles will only fight mobs when they attack the bot otherwise it just runs past them.

      Edit: Deleted the profiles, broken.
This is for Dragonmaw pass, the phased spot in twilight highlands.

      Hi, Virtual,

I assume the TW DragonMaw Phased Gold Embersilk.xml is supposed to be a 'grind profile'. The problem is its written as a Gatherbuddy2 profile. Try recasting it in terms of this template, and all should be well:

As far as the questing profile...
if you are seeing the "Starting Farming Embersilk" message, then the problem is that your <Factions> element hasn't provided the correct faction id.

      cheers,

Is there an editor i can use to find out where the error is located, I tried the profile you suggested copied everything over to the proper places in the profile but i get this error.
The "Hotspots' Start Tag on line 74 position 9 does not match the end tag of 'GrindArea' Line 77 position 6.

Okay ..... CAN someone please Help me figure this out.

I tried this on a warlock and it seemed to work okay.

Im trying to use this on my DK.

And he will not attack the mobs NO matter what UNLESS they attack him.

This makes no Sense. I Have tried botbases like Lazyraider and what not and it just will not work at all.

I redid the profile made it a grind profile. It doesnt have any errors now. But it just will not attack on its own unless being attacked or aggro'd

      EDIT: DELETED Profile non working.

      Hi, Virtual,

Unfortunately, this "Working" profile has completely failed to follow the Grinding Start Profile template we previously linked you. This "Working" profile is still in Gatherbuddy2 grammar. This is why you are having problems.

      cheers,

Okay chinajade thanks for helping me :)
I have the right Grinder Template now from the link you provided. Still having problems.

Okay it worked for a little bit the more hotspots it had the more it had to walk through mob and make it aggro the bot.
But it still will not target and fight them.

Its wierd it was working for a little bit it targeted them for about 5 minutes and ran fine.

now its back to ignoring all mobs unless they aggro me.

This is what is says in honorbuddy [Singular] Current target invalid. Switching to aggroed mob Twilight Spearwarder.CC46!

If i can get this part to work and actually target mobs, is there any way to make it use a flying mount to go to vendor and mailbox ?

Im going to attach a log, of the bot not targeting mobs and only fighting the mobs that aggro it.

      Hi again, Virtual,

Much much better go at it this time.

This is usually indicative that the numbers in the <Factions> element are incorrect. Use the Developer Tools, target a mob, and make certain you've got the right faction ids in there.

Alas, WoWhead does not maintain faction ids, so I can't tell you the appropriate value for Twilight Spearwarders.

The <Factions> element is preferred. But, if you can't get it to work, try replacing it with a <MobIDs> element. For Twilight Spearwarders, it would look like this:

      <MobIDs>47458 47490</MobIDs>

Your log file was truncated of very important information. So, I've no other advice to offer you in regards to why your toon is not pulling mobs.

Alter your Mailbox/Vendor lines to look like this:

      ...
      <Mailbox Nav="Fly" X="-3666.4634" Y="-5279.9316" Z="41.8091" />
      ...
      <Vendor Name="Naka Scaleblade" Entry="49768" Type="Repair" Nav="Fly" X="-3675.1511" Y="-5381.1040" Z="35.7681" />
      ...

This works for questing profiles, and should work for grinding also. Although, I've never tested it.

      cheers,

Hey china it works great but it gets too a point in the profile about 5 minutes of running then it wont target mobs anymore and runs past them .
I changed my log to diagnostic i have an attachement. The log file is too large 1mb so i broke it into part 1 and part 2.
Part 2 right the end of the log i let it run for about 20 or 30 seconds ignoring mobs then i stopped it.

This is what i saw in honorbuddy right when the bot stopped targeting mobs -> [17:06:34.091 N] (Singular) warning: 20 seconds since Grind Bot BotBase last called Singular

      Heres a log.

Hi again, Virtual, and thanks for the log.

In the future if a log is too big, please just zip it.

I'm not certain what's going on, but at [16:57:08.665 N], Singular seems to start having problems facing and attacking targets. For one, it thinks all of your abilities are on cooldown. I guess that is possible, but not very likely.

Your log file is again missing some very important information at the beginning, so we can't provide any more detail than that. You might try a 'clean install'. Instructions here:

Hey im trying to get this up and runing again.
This spot is great for leveling toons afk. RAF two toons. Then have the bot run and gather xp for RAF toons.

The problem is i still cannot get the bot to attack mobs, i have tried different classes here. Its the same old story they fight a few mobs then just run past everything for awhile.

I even tried Lazy raider Grinder and it just spams Setting BOTPOI to NONE. Our kill target is no longer valid.

I've tried the plugin Fighthere. No luck as well.

Does anyone know of a plug in, or maybe a way to write this into a quest profile with a kill amount set to like 9,999 ?

What im thinking is because there are npc Mobs fighting these mobs HB wont attack them, it only attacks fresh spawns that arent in combat, is there anyway to bypass this and tell it to fight (Npc) encountered mobs ?
