Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")

This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

ok so my question is how did they ban me?. I was playing last night just using "combat bot" I was moving my self and logged off went to bed at 10 (8 hrs) later then went to work . 17 hrs later I go to log in and boom suspension. How ever the emailed arrived an hour and a half after I logged off. So HOW did they ban me? I was botting 85-90. Grinding. the previous day. How ever, What I was doing BEFORE 4 hrs before the ban. I was playing and using only combat bot with spells. SO my question is. How did they ban me and if I DONT ever use the MOVMENT bot and just always use COMBAT with skills can they detected me as botting WITHOUT doing a RAM scan?

 

also my other question is. Was this an AUTOMATIC ban done by the system its self?

 

Must've investigated your account and saw Honorbuddy attached to your WoW.exe. Best thing to do is just wait 3 days and DO NOT appeal. Otherwise they will further investigate your account and make it a PERMA ban

 

are their ways to hide and prevent that? So they cant see that HB is attached to WoW????

 

also I did submit a ticket but I JUST canceld it and it says "ticket has been canceled" is this good ? or can they still see the ticket

because im wondering if I NEVER use movment bot ever ever on a fresh acc. n just use the bot for "spells" can I get banned?

Yes you can. Bot only on acc that you do not care if you loose it.

PS and asking "can i get banned" is pointless ... if we would knew noone would be banned.

 

You got banned because you were grinding. It takes time for them to instigate a ban. So its not going to be what you were doing right before you were banned, but what you were doing prior.
Grinding is risky because if someone reports (which someone did) either because your hogging all the mobs in a given area they need for a quest or you just seem..."botty"...they will watch you...
grinding looks botty. It just does. You can't help it. Its why I ALWAYS recommend just questing through to 90..never grinding.

 

they saw HB attached to wow.exe its already been proven and ive spoken to GMS in live chat who told me they saw 3rd party programs attached to wow. Believe what you want guise( pun).

There is some programs to hide HB.exe in task manager but I dont know if that will have any effect on blizzard being able to see it attached to wow. The easy way is to just google for a hide process program but they only work on 32 bit systems. 64 bit systems have a different kernel and way to prevent that so you need to google a way to disable patchguard which requires you to do that prior to booting your OS. Its a little bit complicated but if you search on google you can do it. I figured out how to do it within 2 hours of research on google.
