Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you are only getting accounts banned in pandaria zones using gatherbuddy. As soon as I started to use pandaria gathering profiles i got banned within 3 days, this has happened on 2 out of 2 accounts so far. But I have been botting cata, wotlk and bc gathering profiles for about 8 hours a day, every day on 2 accounts and not been banned once on either account so far. Maybe the majority on bans are when using pandaria profiles which could be caused due to more monitoring or a more populated area resulting in more player reports.
i was baned 21.11.2013 first time in 3 years carrier. this account was frozen 6 months. i get ban after 2 days boting 5h/day. offc GB min+herb in Valley of for winds. also i played on my main when first account gather. Next day i get message error#202 prema ban. i still use HB+tyrael+cr on my main and no ban - strange the same ip but battle.net acc are diferent. conclusion: for me foult GB (sometimes i get black screen for example maybe it buged) edit: few years ago HB and GB was separate to two diferent programs. Why they merged it? Some people are using only GB for example hmm....
server side scripts protect ghost iron ore, it's like having multiple minefields... the MoP minefield has a lot more mines than Cata, WOLTK zone etc.
That can be a true. Actualy it is Blizzard and they can make different kind of script for everything. They can set in script: time spended+node picked Actualy they are able to combine everything. LCP detection with zone and picked nodes, killed mobs per reset, killed mobs per hour, picked nodes per hour. It is not hard for them to be a sure that you are a bot. On this forum there is a more complex profiles than script to detect a bots. We are predictable, never forget that!
Standza, im pretty sure, the bans are not LCP detection/ picked nodes per hour related. I have several accounts, aimed with the best "weapons" to hit max NPH in the short timeframe I bot everyday - 2 x 2 hours. - Usually running in dead hours - starting 2-3 hours past midnight. - A single gatherit premium pandaria profile (Yes, just single one, havent changed it since a year for a reason!) - Using 530+ilvl geared retri paladins/feral druids with Forager gloves (Killing the approaching trash in 2-4 seconds), always achieving at least 150-175nph while farming ores only, and 220+ when farming herbs too! - Got total 4x72h penalties since last autumn (14 months) on 6 bots. Some got 2x, some got zero. 1/6 received Perm ban last week, after 2x72h in the last year. So with 90-150 stacks of mats farmed daily, the bots should be banned from a long time, but all of them have more than a year longevity! So I can safely assume, there is neither LCP or picked nodes per hour detection. So the player reports and the bot-like behaviours per hour without breaks can take into account!
I am sure that are not LCP. That LCP detection is just a presumtion like many other. I am just saying that is possible for them to make or to use script to detect everything. I am doing same like you xD. Rotating two profiles for months on few accounts.
I've been grinding transmogs In Vanilla zones for the past year and still no ban. I've been pretty reckless however, I leave it over night , zero supervision, so its only a matter of time I guess!
