      Just bought a key and I am getting the following Authentication failed!.

      I have open up the ports on my router, flush dns, checked my host file, rebooted and all that fun stuff. With still no luck. Please help.

      are you sure the key your using is the same one listed in your buddyauth account? also make sure theres no spaces before or after the key. if your running a software firewall solution make sure honorbuddy is allowed and you have port 5031 open.

      Yes I am using the one listed and that port is open. No software or router firewall.

      when you log into your buddyauth account where your key is listed, under status what does it say?

      Its under UNUSED / INACTIVE

      Hey man, I had this problem a couple of days ago and what worked for me is disabling a device called Loopback Adapter. You can delete it from your device manager on Windows. Here's a link which explains it a bit better How to disable your loopback adapter.. Good luck!
