Have been using walters aka defaultcombat with darkness spec, and has worked well up until level 50, but since then it has begun not attacking mobs when being attacked by npc's. Just kinda stants there. I would like to know what the best routine to use is for assassin (any spec, I have field respec). Any help would be greatly appreciated, and the sooner the better! Thanks in advance.
Update: Have been trying out joes latest build, but my main problem with it is lack of companion support. When companion dies, bot does not rez him like it does when running walters. Also, bot seems to attack all npc's instead of concentrating on leveling. Am I doing something wrong here? For more info, I am using the Makeb 50-55 questing profile, which I started using at level 51.
If you have issues with a certain routine, please post in that routine post! Joes does rez companion, maybe your using a faulty version, or something broke in the last version. Anyways youll get much quicker response if you post them there!
Gotcha. Thank you. But to be clear, the post was originally intended to see what combat routines most are using. Still figuring out the fine details of the bot, as well as the codes of both Combat Routines and Profiles.
Not much choise there: Lvl 50-55+ is just (Un)Pure Lvl 1-50/55 is Joes / Walters Walter is currently very busy with personal life, if im correct and Joe is very helpfull with his build. You cant test their builds, if they suck in a routine, just mention it, advice how you do it or suggest a website where its explained in detail, so Joe/Walter can change the routine. Trust me, you will get all the help if you test pre hand what works for you and what not, and put in suggestions. The more we help each other in routines the better everyone becomes
use walters with TANK spec. By tank spec I mean you need more points in the tanking tree than in any other but you can have say 10 tanking points and then 9 in deception. It usues whatever tree you have the most points in to determine a rotation and I seem to have the best luck with the tank spec rotation until about level 40ish then i usualy use wing-it because for some reason walters doesnt like to be stable for me on the level 40 planets on an assassin, works for other classes just something with this class and the planets, who knows but whatever works. I basicly have buddywing installed in 4 different folders, each folder has a different routine, one is joes ones is joes 2.0 one is wing it and one is walters. I try each spec with each bot until I find one that runs good. Usually its walters I go with. The new joes seems to work good as well but it never runs more than a few hours for me and the rotations are pretty generic almost as if its one rotation for all specs, and is less effective I find.
