I did some manual mining during the first few days of the patch and after GB release. Anybody else think that they changed some of the terrain/trees in Wintergrasp? It just looks and feels different while flying around and there's a few places that my profile goes right by some easy to reach nodes that aren't in my badnodes. Or am I just slowly losing my mind due to respeccing 18 80's?
Actualy, I've noticed they have moved trees around a bit too, in Scholzar Basin. And they reshaped the ground a bit
i have a fraps video of me mining in sholozar i could fast forward it and let u guys know when I get home.
One thing I've noticed while mining in WG is that GB is prone to dismounting me in midair, resulting in falling several yards, typically to my death. It never did this pre-patch. Whether this is a change on the Blizz side or the GB side remains to be seen.
i havent tried WG yet but doesnt sound normal post your log on Gb main thread plz *if you have a macro on mount button change it with the normal mount button
The dismounting in air happened several times to me while NOT using GB. Have yet to have it happen while using it.
There is some graphical change but i dont see trees or the ground being in a diffrent place. I only watched like 10 minutes of it while retracing the steps on my account. What area exactly did you think looked different?
I will say in Cataclysm Beta everything looks like its from Alice in Wonderland. Most of the stuff has glare and it looks extremely plastic. So I think they are starting to implement the new graphics system.
I have noticed this too, in WG, usually near the south end, close to the border between zones, along the frozen water/rock shelf area.
I've had the same dismount issues in WG, but they've not really been a problem seeing as I'm farming primarily on my druid using his flight form rather than a mount, so I can recast/remount in mid-air ^^
