I have my other account which i play on more serious, i always give the gold to that account, what's my risk of getting banned there as well? Will they track my trades from my bot account to my real account or do they not care? I have always been clean, the account is over a year old and all gear/arena is grinded by hand, never had any problems. In cataclysm my main acc had 9x lvl 85 and good progress in raids, high positions in guilds etc. This was my 2nd account during that time, and as i said, i had full arena pvp gear, the char looks good, legit. The ban took place 11 AM today while i was logged out not botting. It doesen't say anything about how many hours, so i guess its Permanent. The mail says its banned for use of third party software/bot/cheats. SHOULD I APPEAL? Its not like im running around in greens botting 15 hours per day, and i've only used HB for 3 weeks.
alot of banns are coming from Gatherbuddy, and i am not surprised you got banned to be honest looking at the course youve been taking it does suggest you've been botting i mean 25-350 auctions per day + pure gathering does suggest you have been botting. anyways what happened is in the past now you can appeal and plead thats all it i guess.
All the ban reports I have seen are GB bans with the lowest hours botted at an average of 3-4hrs. I'd suggest not using GB at all if not for less than 2hrs with full supervision. Try changing profiles/routes and botting at different times too. Of course this is all assuming you actually care about your account.
Has to be player reports and/or bad profiles. I've been using GB no less than 9h a day on a very populated server for going on 3 months now with my current account, not to mention the mailing out of over a million gold I've sold too.
Just reporting what I've seen. Teach us your ways master; I'd like to bot for 8hrs+ again without fearing for my ass.
I do not not "fear for my ass" that it won't get banned. I just don't care. Even if an account gets banned with in the first month (which, honestly, if you're smart there's no way it should), it's already paid for itself, it's replacement and my pizza.
You misunderstand. I fear for MY ass. Sure it has already paid for itself but being the cheapskate that I am I like to squeeze as much profit out of it as possible.
Honestly botting in WoW is more luck dependant than whatever your capabilities are so gambling would be a better example
