Greetings everyone,

I decided to get back into WoW again after quite a while. The thing I want to do is take advantage of the WoW discounts (battlechest @ 5 euro).

I want to do RaF with LazyBoxer with a total of 5 accounts, I will play the tank in the groups and the 4 slaves follow me (I have 4 sessions for HB).

My goal is to get 11x85 on the main account (the one recruiting the 4 slaves). Of course it's most efficient to lvl only to the lowest levels possible.

Nedaa posted in his topic that the following setup would give you 11x85 on one realm:

1x85
1x69
1x53
1x36
1x22
1x11

But how does the math behind this work out?

I came up with the following calculations in Excel:

paladin
85

warrior
70

druid
54

priest
40

hunter
30

shaman
20

mage
12

warlock
6

monk
2

death knight
1

rogue
1

This would still leave me with 10 grantable levels ignoring the Monk and DK's starting levels.

I believe those are the levels you would need to have before you grant levels from the RAFees. To be honest I can't find any sense in what he's trying to do or what he wants from us

Some things to keep in mind:
- DK's are about 61 when they get out of the zone
- Levels 1-15 can't use dungeon finder, imo the worst to level
- Panda and Worgen/Goblin will get you to level 15 or so before you're out of the zone
- Total amount of levels you need to be able to grant would be 780. 24 for the DK and 9 x 84 for the others (if you'd only get one group to 85 and dks to 61)
- The % gained in a level will stay the same after granting a level, so try to get a toon on your main account as close to levelling as possible before granting levels

First group I'd level up to 85, giving you 168 levels to grant. (612 needed)
Second group go for the DK's to 61, giving 12 levels to grant. (600 needed)
Third group to 70, needs to be this high or you won't have enough higher levels to grant. This adds 140 grantable levels. (391 needed)
Group 4 and 5 I'd go to 66. This will give 264 levels to grant. (3 spare).

That's it, you can grant everything else you need now (if my math is correct). The reason I do group 4 and 5 to 66 is that I prefer to minimize the amount of groups needed. Less setup, less lower levels and dungeon finder is fast.

Make sure to use the lower level grants first, starting with the dks, then 66s and so on.

I would also consider buying a 5th key, that way you can just use dungeonbuddy in a 5 man group.

just level the characters to 43 then grant them to 85, if you split it any other way to where you level over 43 then you are wasting time.

You can't grant above your own level.

Wait... So if I grant a level... That granted level counts towards another toons grantable level?

Example, I grant toon A... two levels..
Toon B levels up 2 times, and is able to grant Toon C a level ? Is that how it works?

It is if they are chain linked. A < B < C ... The OP has all 4 accounts linked to 1 main account though.

This is not possible...Wowuser123 is correct, you can't grant levels higher than the granter's level. So if you level 4 characters to 43, you can grant 2 character to 43, not one to 85.

For every group of 5 you level to 85, you can grant 2 characters on your main to 85.

With that math, you would need to level 4 groups of 5 to 85 to have 11 85's on your main account.

BUT...

What you really should do is level each character to 10.99 BEFORE you start granting levels. This will make it so you only need 3 groups of 5 to 85, and you can grant characters straight up to 85.99, which will save you 2 or so hours getting from 85-90.

In a group of 5 only 4 characters will be able to grant levels, 5th char is from the main account. By levelling to 85 you can only grant 42 levels, so you would also be short to grant 2 to 85.

For every 5 man team you level you have 3 85's on your main account. so you would have to do 4 teams would give you your 11 on one server but if you pick a connect realm you can have more.

Levels can be granted to a connect realm too as they are classed as one server.

Also before you grant any levels make sure the one you are going to give the levels too is as close to 99% as possible that way you are almost 86 when you finish granting levels.

Thanks for that correction. I just edited my previous post. But 2 characters to 85 will allow you to grant to 85. I've done it multiple times before, and it will work to 85.99.

You're right that you won't be short, only have to grant 84 levels to get to 85.

Get one character to lvl85 and use it to grant all the others levels.

What if a Monk and a Priest are both 85? Are they then allowed to grant a Rabbi to 90?
