Option for 3 Incinerates as well? Or is that asking too much I think that's probably what would work best for me. I can hit 2 embers after 3 incinerates 90% of the time.

 

Pushed a fix for Immolate.

What's the dps difference like with the 2 versions of the opener? I can add more settings to it (but it's not very simple to do). It was quite a substantial dps loss doing 4x incinerates as opposed to 1 - but that's probably down to my gear level.

I find conflag x2 -> incinerate -> chaos bolt works best for me (i.e. the standard opener).

 

I'd really like an extra setting for 3 incinerates as well. Your old opener was 2 incinerates, not one?

Reason for waiting a bit longer.

1) Bindings doesn't always proc right away for me. Extra few seconds gives me a bit more consistency with binding procs.

2) Glyph of Havoc is used on quite a few fights and getting to 2 embers allows you to do a double chaos havoc for huge damage. (1.5+ million dps in the opener)

3) With my crit / haste / berserking / gloves even if I get the toxic totem proc right away I can Precast Incinerate -> Immolate / Conflag x2 / Incinerate x3 / Chaos x2 before it falls off. Two incinerates doesn't usually get me 2 embers, 3 /4 always will get me 2 embers. This doesn't even include raid spell haste / crit and then lust with is used a lot on the opener.

4) When we fill the second ember we get 15% more crit with the t16 4 piece bonus, right now we are using chaos before that happens. Everyone raiding with Demonic should have T16 4 piece by now or will shortly.

So basically for me I would prefer to delay the chaos's a bit as I'm never going to miss procs but gain consistency with bindings / ability to use glyph of havoc effectively + we also get our t16 proc when we fill up a second ember giving us another 15% crit for both chaos bolts.

This is how it should look.

Pot / Incinerate Precast -> Dark Soul / Berserking / Gloves -> Immolate (Hopefully toxic totem / black blood / bindings procs right about here) -> Conflag x2 -> Incinerate until we get 2 embers (This should be about 3 with good gear, 4 if you don't get any crits -> T16 procs when ember #2 fills up -> Double Chaos / Quad Chaos with Havoc glyph (for me these each hit for ~3 million with dark soul + bindings + toxic totem + t16 4 piece + pot)

So really what I'm asking is to Incinerate until we have 2 embers but I think 3 will almost always do it for me and if I go with 4 + Immolate / conflags going to need lust to get a second chaos off if toxic totem procs right away as we aren't using the backdraft on the first Chaos.

Okay, that makes sense. Well I'll change it to 4x incinerates or >= 2 embers. I'll push it in a few mins, keep an eye out.

He used 3 incinerates there. I have a feeling 3 will get me to 2 embers 95% of the time. Doing up to 4 incinerates / chaos'ing at 2 embers sounds perfect. Will test right away and let you know.

Ah good stuff. Seems to be working good for me with the 2 ember thing now too. I'll probably set this to default and remove the setting.

 

You have 4 piece? It's always going to be rng on when you get procs / crits but at 2 embers you are guaranteed to have dark soul / 4 piece proc always. Depends on how you're reforged too. Like Sparkuggz goes for haste / crit and has a lot of haste compared to most locks, so 4 incinerates makes sense for him as he isn't going to generate enough embers with only 2-3 but then he can catch up a bit on the chaos because of his cast speed.

I'll test changes with Thok's logic this sunday and soonly after reply about it.
I haven't yet seen updated bot itself. did u only made 1s=>0.3s ? or even added "the switcher" for turn logic off?

Good thing about new rotation is to make Demonic use Troll's berserk with those 2CB.That's what pro's do due to the WOL.com
