Open Broadcaster Software + HB = Fail?

Can I use Open Broadcaster Software to stream to Twitch.Tv while using HB, because everytime I load WoW+HB and then load OBS, WoW crashes.

 

yea, its because of the way hooks wow. so you wont be able to.

have you tried Xsplit.?

 

it all depends on the hook, sometimes fraps is fine. but generally anything that records the entire desktop should be fine, but if it hooks the game window your going to have issues.

 

Start up HB before hooking the game on OBS. That's how I do it

Try Mirillis Action, If you have Nvidia, the Shadowplay is your best option, I use it, 0 problems. Just take care before tab to desk lol.

 

I havent had issues using xsplit and hb at the same time you could try using a trial or a *****e copy and not drop the cash for the paid one till you know it will work

 

Software solutions are always $%&%?. I am using an Avermedia Portable a small hardware doing the encoding and streaming to twitch. Works fine

 

what os u running and graphics cards? im using win8.1 64bit with nvidia cards and have zero crashes with OBS ver 0.624b-32bit while running wow+hb and streaming to Twitch.tv

 

obs works fine for me using the game hook function which version of obs u using 32 bit or 64 bit 32 bit seems to work all good for me streaming wise that is

 

First of all, why would you stream while using bot?, second of all, OBS works for me while botting

 

FFsplit works freat aswell

 

ye, great idea. stream while botting. then ur wow crashes and woop, theres the bot error for all to see.

1. twitch will ban you if they find out ( dont know how you value your stream account )

I think it's kind of amusing. I'm surely not the only one who enjoys watching the bot quest. When it's working, it's so efficient. It doesn't tire, nor does it take random breaks, it just does what it do. It's gotten so bad I can't not watch it, 25% out of fear it will do something stupid and 75% out of enjoyment.
