I keep hearing that this was targeted to PQR, but I do not use PQR (well haven't since June-July of last year), and yet received a 72-hour ban today. Was I just 'unlucky'? Does anyone have conclusive info. on what is going on? Imagine that I should not hop on my other account and use it right now? :D

it's very possible they've been collecting data on PQR since July. if you dont bot on your other account why are you worried to log in? no, they arent banning random people. if you got 72 hrs, they got you using PQR or similar.

Where did you read me say that I do not bot on my other account? I bot. On both accounts. I am not worried about signing in to my other account; I have signed in to my other account, and it is fine (not banned/suspended).

I HIGHLY doubt this ban was a result of a three-or four time use of PQR which occurred 7 months ago.

Did you use PQR on the account thats fine ?
Nope, well there you have it.

What you think and what blizzard can do is 2 extremely different things.

Edit. So basically you ran an idiot bot that announced itself to blizzard servers and you wonder why you got banned ? Lmao

"Which means addon messages were communicated to the server, and sent to any listening clients on that addon channel. This is a HUGELY BAD IDEA, as it is essentially advertising to the WoW servers "I AM RUNNING THIS ADDON!" Blizzard logs everything they receive, and it is just a matter of them searching the logs for people advertising their version number on the channel."

There is always a chance in where users which were already flagged as a "normal HB offense" got caught in the crossfire. There always are a few (10? 20?) non-banwave related HB bans per day. You probably ran out of luck, and would've been banned anyway. Even if this wave didnt happen.

      All just speculation though.

ACTUALLY Bobohead, you raise a VERY good point. While I didn't run PQR on MY account that didn't get banned:

1: The stupid PQI Folder was in the same Add-Ons Folder at this time; and
2: I DID run it on my friend's account and his account is fine.

Back to the moronic drawing-board for you. Don't come back please until you can develop more sense. I believe that will take a while.
