for equual geared huntard then frost mage by millz then lock by millz anyway lock is quite overkill went to clear timeless island on 87 to farm and it work very well on turtless and lesses mobs. destruction routine tend to keep embers for too long and not casting chaos bolt even when set to keep 2.5 embers and default aura list.

Getting shredded in PVP as affli atm, I have full Grevious with 4 Tyrannical pieces so I'm fully geared, I'm using the routine with LazyRaider and I'm doing 2's with my WW monk friend atm, they're less geared than me but 9/10 times they end up having to 1v2 to get the win after I get destroyed straight away. Any recommended settings? I'm using the default PVP settings that come with the CR atm. I have the premium CR if that's of any importance.

 

PvP will not work well if you dont know what you are doing. You can't "half-afk" PvP and expect great results, no matter the routine. Same thing goes to PvE, if you want to perform at a top level, you gotta know how to play the class and what abilities you are supposed to use when etc.. The default PvP settings are pretty good - so if you get "Shredded" as you said, you probably have limited experience playing PvP with a warlock or you are playing against elite players.

 

Also, not related to the last post but I can't seem to make hotkeys work, the addon isn't working either but I think I recall that it has been disabled? I'm not sure though.

 

the addon has been disabled as a precaution.
The hotkeys work fine. Make sure that you haven't already bound the hotkeys to a button.
I suggest dropping LazyRaider and start using Tyrael.

1) Do you have a minimum hp set for Chaosbolt?
2) Aura list at 87 is essentially only Dark Soul as you don't have trinkets or skull banner going down for you. Do you have dark soul enabled for mobs or just bosses?

It's doing exactly what it needs to for raiding and will work fine on mobs if you have the settings right.

 

Default PvP settings files are more of an 'everything enabled' setup. It's fine for BGs, but arenas you need to be configuring it depending on how your team's play style is. That being said, affliction isn't great in 2s - much better for 3s.

- [Affliction] Soulburn: Soul Swap now works off the Aura List.
- [Affliction] Reduced the duration required on the 3 DoTs before allowing the cast of Haunt.
- [Affliction] Removed Haunt from the aura list.
- Aura list's stack count value is now working. PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST RELOAD THE AURALIST.XML FILE!
- When reloading the aura list, the values will now overwrite the current stored setting matching the same aura ID, rather than skipping the entry.

 

Yeah I'd read that, I'm torn between Destruction and Demonology, I hear Demo is actually viable in PVP but I've only really got experience as a lock in PVE so I'm new to the whole thing.
Does anyone have any PVP recommendations?

i am very new to this CC. Today was a update and in my hb there is always a red line with "update the aura.xml.."
so i hittet import file and than the aura list....but when i restart hb the red line with "update ...." is coming again...ist this a error or am i doin something wrong ?

Every time i try to load this CC my HB just crashes, tried new clean instal of hb,cc and tyrael, it works only on first try, but when i close all and open/ load cc hour later,it crashes, cant even send report to HB (it says too many errors)

Try destruction. When setup correctly it's pretty powerful, especially with Ember Tap to regain health, and shadowburn nuking at <20% HP.

Yeah that's fine. As long as you load it at least once after seeing that message you can ignore it. It's because I made some changes last night to fix the stack count issue, but it breaks all non-stacking buffs, so the re-load of the list sets all of the stack counts which were 1 to 0.

Hey - There's 2 solutions to this.

1) Deleting the files under <Honorbuddy>/Settings/Demonic/*

OR

2) Edit the file <Honorbuddy>/Settings/Demonic/DemonicSettings.xml (it's called something like that..). Find the value for;

<Destruction_ChaosBoltValue>***</Destruction_ChaosBoltValue>

and change it to..

<Destruction_ChaosBoltValue>3</Destruction_ChaosBoltValue>

Tried this out in a few BGs and in 2's with a friend, I have to play cautiously but it seems to be working much better than affli/demo, the added survivability really helps. Thanks for the advice.

 

What is the best way to swap specs using this premium version. For some reason, when I go from affliction to demonology, or vice versa, it will cause the bot to not do any rotation. Even if I "alt x" to continue the rotation or stop and start it. Sometimes I have to completely exit honorbuddy, and switch specs, then bring the bot back on.

 

Restart HB..

 

Is there a reason why isn't the routine using Havoc + Shadowburn on the small adds on Norushen?
