UPDATE: NO LONGER WORKS, BLIZZARD CAUGHT ON AND HOTFIXED IT Farms charms from unstable corruptions (small elementals) in heroic throne of the tides Not too sure on the rate/hour but my guess from results so far is around 800-1000+ charms/hr which is 80-100+ tokens/hr. So that's a lovebird every 2-3 hours depending on your class. Gear doesn't matter much since they have 10k hp and die by most aoe skills. Instructions: - Obtain a Lovely Charm Collector's Kit if you don't already have one - Make your way to throne of the tides in vashj'ir and be sure to set your settings to 5 player (heroic). Location: Throne of the Tides - You must defeat the first boss (naga lady) and second boss (giant guy just after naga lady) to enable the pathway to the left at the start of the instance. - Kill all the larger elementals that do not respawn EXCEPT FOR THE TWO SENTRIES BY THE GATE AT THE END OR THE SMALL ELEMENTALS WILL NOT RESPAWN. - Open honorbuddy - Set the mode to grind bot - Load the profile - Start - If your bags are full you must manually bank Notes: - Play on a level 90 for best results. Not tested on lower levels and you may aggro and kill the sentries near the gate which will stop the small elementals spawning. - Play on a class with passive healing (warrior/hunter/warlock/others). I tested this on a warrior with second wind with full greens at level 90 and second wind kept me alive. - I've tested this for about an hour and the bot does not engage or aggro the two sentries but it could be possible if a smaller elemental wanders too close to them and your character uses chain lightning/multishot/some aoe skill. - Large bags with a lot of empty space are ideal for longer runtime - Do not create charms until you empty your bags since they stack to 40 (or 4 bracelets) and bracelets only stack to 1 Download: View attachment 119965
Lovely Charm profile Trying it out now, will update in 1H with results. Edit: After 1H I got ~800 charms. (I stared out with ~250) A bit dissapointed since I'm a monk with 505ilvl but it's a pretty good profile overall. View attachment 119984 Edit 2 I have seen that people have been dying and have found the reason why, the Unstable Corruptions cast a disease called Wave of Corruption, the DoT stacks up to 20 times and deals 1k damage per stack, if you are unlucky you can easily get 20 stacks so unless your class have selfheals or can remove diseases it's a pretty dangerous farming spot.
Came back after 40 min with my character afk and sitting outside the instance with almost all my geared destroyed and with ress sickness. I'm running with a Warlock ilvl 528 Can't upload the log for some reason
What class are you? Try playing a class with better AoE (Monk, Warrior, Paladin) or try checking your class settings so the aoe spells are checked in!
I'm in the brewery, right in front of the door to the second boss, just sitting there with combat bot and movement disabled. Kills: 1083 (1950/hr) let's say every 3rd mob drops one... i guess it's okay

Testing right now. Was having problems with that damn dot but i just specced into Spirit Bond, and it's golden.
558 Hunter 1 Hr. 1 Min. Test Kills: 2549 (2532/hr) Deaths: 1 (1/hr) Charms: 822 So about 1 in every 3 dropped a charm, and the death came sometime when i was in the shower. Even though i have a pretty good heal w/ Spirit Bond, I must have had an 18k dot tick go on for a bit too long.
Hmm this is wierd! I was running the profile going great! But suddenly i dont get any more charms? Anyone got this problem? ITs like blizzard just suddenly stopped it from these mobs, but i can get from others :s
Anyone know if I you can't loot the charms when you relog inside of this dungeon? I'm getting 0 of these no matter how many of the mobs I kill. I've tried re-entering the dungeon, re-logging and exiting WoW completely - nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.
