Hello guys, I just recently realised the bot life chose me. Anyway am going to take it slow, get back in shape with my main - re-learn what I have forgotten and get max level/ professions. Thinking of going 2 gatherers, an AHbuddy and my main. Toyed quite a bit on Diablo 3 with demonbuddy for +/- 1000 hours without a ban. What I'd like to ask from you - the experienced buddies, what should I do and NOT do..? I have no budget limit, my main concern is avoinding the bans and keeping my main safe - also I would like to generate a steady income of ~ 1000 euro's monthly. P.S. the number of bots isn't fixed either.
flipping craftables is best, but if u want to fully afk it go str8 gatherbuddy with alotta druids. farming the low level shit because no1 else does is a good thing to do. I farm goldthorn and resell for 400g/stack on my server.
This is a quick explanation on how I have avoided the epic ban hammer while botting for several years. Background: approximately 2 years with WOWGlider before it shut down. Now another 1 ? years with Honor buddy. NO bans or suspensions. Still using my original 3 vanilla accounts. I have a job that allows me to play/bot while working. This gives me the ability to constant monitor the bots for errors or whispers, etc.. With this I have 3 accounts. 2 of which have 11 lvl 90 toons and the 3rd has 4 90s, all on the same server. (no I do not bot for profit, just to maintain my guild) This is what I do. 1. Start all instances of wow. 2. Start all instances of honorbuddy (never start WOW while honorbuddy is running or any botting web page is open). 3. Make sure to monitor bots as much as possible. After work relaxing? Run the bot. Dinner party? Run the bot. Sleeping? Do not run the bot. etc.. 4. Any situation that seems sketchy, stop the bot, run some manual stuff or log off. Sketchy stuff includes: Arhceology digs where the item is on the ground but cannot be picked up, Bot keeps targeting hidden mobs, whispers from other agitated players, etc.. Things that as a normal player you would be all WTF! That about sums it up. Just try to be careful. I am by no means a botting expert. However, understand I have never been banned or suspended. Means something I am doing is right. Or very possibly, I am very lucky. My thoughts? 1. I do not bot for profit, as such I have never given Blizz a reason to ban a paying customer. 2. I use every little bit of caution I can while still botting. I make it known to all guildies and online friends that I am a ?addon whore?. Thus any sketchy actions I blame an addon. 3. Find a guild and friends that seem to play like you. I understand several of my guildies are botters. As am I. But we do not discuss it. We play like it is not happening. 4. ?Play Distracted?. Friends and fellow guildies think I multi-box, playing (not botting) multiple accounts. I sustain this concept by surfing news, facebook etc. while raiding. This creates the image that I am doing multiple things and cannot concentrate on that one window. Thus when I miss something, nobody thinks about it too much. 5. Create a chat tab in WOW. A separate chat window that only has chat channels. I use this to see what I miss without having to scroll through a bunch of exp, damage, pet battle statements and such. This chat tab also keeps track of chat longer this way as it does not have additional information running it out.
Just do GB2, get banned fast and never do it again. -> If you want to make 1000 euro a month from botting, to hell you're going to be supervising it 100% xD best joke i've ever heard. Do some research on your own, find out what works for you and your realm. you won't be making 1000 euro off the "tips" people give out here, in that case.. everyone would do it (kinda makes sence.)
Thank you very much for the insight! Yeah, practice makes perfect and just as you I can play as I work. I can literally dedicate 80 % of my time at work to the bots.. Also I have a really good knowledge of the game, I finished cata 100 % so now I just have to move on to MoP and clear that as well..
Also, as I said I have unlimited budget.. could just as well set up 2 x 20 bots farming rigs with no problem.. But I intend on taking it slow, getting back in the game and learning what cuts it and what not..
Rule #1: Don't bot on your main account. (Or anything you don't want to use.) Rule #2: You're not going to be running 40 bots off the bat. Start with 1, move up to 3, 5, 8 so on. Do not start out of the gate with anything more than 5. You will be overwhelmed and you will lose everything. I have a friend who will help you set everything up. He's very expensive, but I can vouch that he has made...quite a bit of money off botting, and if you want to seriously get into this, he's who you want to talk to. If you listen to anything I say, listen to rule #1. Edit: Staffix also knows this friend.
And how am I to contact this friend of yours? Also, as I have stated, I am just going to start playing again manually until I get the hang of the game again.. while reading into it more and preparing my accounts, machines etc.
Well first you have to PM me. He doesn't like his information out on the forums. Also, he charges $500/h and recommends 6 hours. After that, you'll be pretty much set up to start making some real cash from botting. Real cash meaning with 6 bots making $1.5k a month. Don't think he's worth it? I was talking to him for an hour. In that hour, he made $16,000.
There is a thin line between being sane or naive.. Not sure what he could tell me in an hour that I feel it would be worth 500 $.. But again, I am skeptical by nature.. And 16.000 an hour is a huge number for literally anyone.. that means, at least, 100.000 /day and over a million during a month at least..
He doesn't make that every day, but he's easily made over 1 million in botting. Easily. Also, that's why he recommends 6 hours. I can get you more vouches, if you wish. I'm sure even Botanist would vouch for him.
The $16,000 guy sounds like an imaginary friend of yours. I doubt it's true. Anyhow, to stay on topic. If you're going with a "botfarm", make sure that you got access to a bunch of different IPs.
He's very much real. Also, PM me and I'll respond. I don't start PM conversations for reasons that I'd like to keep to myself.
He is real, the numbers might.. be slightly off tho but it's to give you a general idea of him being legit or not.. I'll stay out of the "PM me and i'll ask him" thing, and i don't wish to talk about him and numbers.
We're not forcing you in any way to belive it, take it or leave it. It's not really of my concern wether you make X amount of money a year on botting, or XXXXXX amount of money.. I simply do not care, that's also the reason why i'm not going into numbers I'll leave that up to other people.
