Anyway, I do see the problem now and perhaps the community has some interesting ideas about it?

I just figured it out after all this time.... I was extracting the file to the desktop and dragging it to the plugins and apparently that doesn't work

You need to simply double click the zipped folder and drag whats inside to the plugins

Extracting breaks the updater I guess....

 

Incorrect folder names will, yes.

 

I don't know if you care to know, but i fixed it by using the new beta build, as it seemed like others were having a similar issue in the general bugs section. Already reinstalled the official version like three times.

 

That is good, but I unfortunately do not support beta releases. But it's good in that release will eventually contain any said fixes.

 

the august celestials not doing anything for the dailys

Unconfirmed issue with HasQuestAvailable(). Seen it with Sho on Tillers. Don't know if the august celestials quest giver has a similar issue. Did the August Celestials kicker quest giver have a quest? Was he in visual range of the bot when it landed and awaited spawns due to zoning and lag?

 

started the bot at the shrine of the two moons
next it tried to find the flight master ( tania summerbreeze)
then it fly up in the air and landed in front of the shrine about 20 yards away from the bottom entrance for all the daily guys
then it fly up in the air and said all the quests were done when it had not tried to talk to any one
do i need to be in a diffrent location for them or should i be able to start it right next to their quartermaster ( sage lotusbloom)

 

You didn't answer my questions from before:

i didnt see the quest giver i was hoping just to start it in panda land and go

 

So it didn't move close enough to the npc's location to spawn the npc is what you are saying?

 

correct but it might have also been i didnt unlock the quest line either which i just did will test and report back

 

Perhaps you could give us a button somewhere in the settings that would force an update for those occasions where HB updates and overwrites your QBs. Saving us the trouble of comming here, manually downloading the zip and manually installing it?

 

I don't know if it is in there since I have no idea how to read the code for avoidance but the Foreboding Flames, in the Timeless Isles, cast Spiritflame Strike which hits me for over half of my health. It is an AoE around the mob so running out should solve the issues, I just have no idea how to see if it is in there or how to make the code for this. I am a bit lower in gear level since I just hit 90 this week but I figure other people might like this.

Oh my god.. Tried it for first time to try for timeless isle right now with my hunter with 458i level now, its going running troung spectral monks and die.. die.. die .. die... die die... diee getting like 5 pulls, moving everywhere, omg... 12 dies right now i look the bottish char ever!

 

Tiller Dailies

As cool as this is, and as much time as you devote, I hate to ask.. but I'm frustrated as I can't get it to run without issues and have not been able to find the solutions myself.

When starting the dailies, HB always complains:

Have deleted the cache folders, in the wow subs as well as the HB subs, but seems to make no difference. After the 30 second pause, it starts the quest. This behavior repeats almost every time one quest completes, and another daily task begins.

I have also done a clean install of HB and TBMC

On any of the quests on the ridge to the west of The Heartland, which have so far included:

The Kunzen Hunter-Chief (Hozen);
Stealing is Bad... Re-Stealing is OK (Hozen);
The Lesser of Two Evils (Virmens).

The character will use a ground mount to run to the base of the ridge, then just sit there indefinitely as the ground mount cannot climb the mountain. If I manually switch to a flying mount and move near the correct area up the mountain, the bot will execute the quest fine.

Also, it often doesn't pick up available quests. Today it would not pick up "You Have to Burn the Ropes", given by Ella.

Please advise.

 

Try increasing your item level. Nowhere did I make claims that "your bot will survive anything!" If you are low enough that these mobs would normally pose a threat in high numbers, what makes you think the bot will fare better?

"I look like the bottish char ever" if you've been using the bot as long as I have (which according to your start date you have and longer) then you should be able to pick out a bot from a line up, every time. I, personally, can start a heroic and tell you exactly who's botting within the first 2 pulls. You learn to see it. If your complaint is "your profile is bottish" maybe you should take that up with the HB devs, as it would actually be the bot itself acting bottish. Simulating human response and variety is complex. We are all doing the best we can. If you a lee afraid of being marked as a bot, don't use it.

 

If you have already done at least 1 quest on the list of quests that that particular profile checks for today, then no amount of cache clearing will remove that pop up for today. Wait until the dailies have reset, clear your cache, then it shouldn't do that. At least until next time you complete a daily and then restart the profile.

I have seen issues with HasQuestAvaulable() checks on dailies givers in more recent versions of HB. Looking to collect some data and present to HB dev team. That's probably why it won't pick up.

If the bot won't mount fliers automatically, make sure you don't accidentally have a ground mount selected as your flier. Also, certain quests are not "Nav=Fly" compatible (anything non-objective) and if you fall off a cliff and need to fly back, you WILL get stuck until you either fly yourself or restart the profile (stop/start).

 

ilvl 458? Yeah, no chance at all
You'll get kicked in the nuts by virtually all mobs there. Problem is your dps is too low, so you receive too much dmg. Try again at 480+

bot wont do anything when trying to quest level 83 hunter
