[PAID] [Priest] Insanity - An Advanced Honorbuddy Shadow Priest Routine [PvE/PvP]

Hey - Sorry all. Was a bug in the last version I pushed, and couldn't get online last night.

Just pushed an update;

- Changes to Shadow Word: Death, to give a higher priority than devouring plague to the second charge.
- Burst mode will now continue to cast DoTs.

 

would either of the things you quoted account for doing half the dps with this CC as the same character on the same encounters with the default singular CC?

I admit this characters ilevel is lowish, i think it might be like 530ish but he is specced shadow.

Use skada, click where it shows your dmg and it will show a breakdown of how much dmg each spell did. Also right click and look at debuff uptimes(also click this it will show you Each Debuff uptime. Than finally look at buff uptime. You get to by once again right clicking and also click this and it will show each buffs uptime.

Now, if you wanna go one step further download simcraft and run a simple on your own character.

Once you compared the results either take screen shots or write the info here.

 

You could share what talents you're using, and CR-settings could also be useful. Is multidotting enabled? Check the AoE keybind if its enabled etc. Is it only multitarget bosses (protectors) or singletarget ones (iron juggernaut). Masked armory.

Theres a lot of ways you can give feedback, you can also provide a logfile for Millz to look through.

 

If the priest makes it into the rotation next week I will keep an eye out for these things so I can give more info. After the wtf's i was getting about what he was doing performance wise in raids I might have to put him on the shelf for a while

 

Tbh before taking it to raids you should consider testing it on some LFR, flex, dummies, or w/e, take the time to configure it to suit your needs, and then bring it to raid, not the opposite

 

There was a bug in the last version causing issues with certain spells, and causing some pausing problems. The current latest SVN version should be good though.

Give it a try on the target dummies, or in an LFR, and ensure it's back to it's usual, excellent state

He still doesn't cast Halo as much as i'd like. On dummys, he casts it once, around start, then it is like he waits 2 cooldowns before he casts it again. Any chance you can test that?

Talents are set right in the config. 4/4 at 100% mana, sear at 5 and more. Dots are fine. Using all 4 dummys. Target values set at 0 to make sure he dots everything. dps is good, around 290k at 561, but could be a bit more with the "right" halo.

Edit: Timed the halo and it takes approx 23 seconds after cd is reset to cast it again.

- Whitelisted ourselves as a friendly unit.
- Once a unit has been detected as targeting someone in our party or raid, it is now whitelisted for 60s. If not, it is re-checked every 500ms. Improves speed at detecting multi-DoT targets.
- Potential fix to help prevent pausing when first entering combat when manual cast detection enabled.

 

[20/Feb/2014]
- Added units Spark of Life and Stone Statue (Spoils of Pandaria) to the ignore targeting multi-DoT list.
- Spell logging will now print out the units entry ID for easier debugging.

click on it and it tries to open in web browser and freezes my pc

 

anyone played arena with it yet? how is it? is it viable at all?
