At what point does a blackspot become valuable or useful? I've created a handful of gatherbuddy profiles so far and I haven't found a use for adding one yet. And my profiles have worked almost flawlessly so far. Can someone give me a example of when you might use one?
Mostly when I have used it, it have been for: Blackspots = mesh quick fix So, been a while since I used it, but unless something has changed: When you setup a black spot at coordinate xyz radius=X, it will blacklist all the tiles this circle touches. Among the things I've used it for, is to block/avoid: shortcuts, cliffs, mobs, places the bot gets stuck, enemy faction camps. It has a lot of use in ground navigation
If I were to run the bot in the jungle and put a blackspot on like every tree on my route would it then be more human like avoiding trees better? Just curious.
No, HB will automatically detect obstacles and run around them Just think of Blackspots as "avoid this area"
I made a gatherbuddy2 profile with a mailbox using zaprecorder and when its inventory fills up to 1 slot left it just stands there till it disconnects. I set it to mail to my alt but to no avail. Any advice on where im going wrong?
This is usually a profile error - make sure you've added the co-ordinates for a mailbox in your profile (never used Zap, dont know if it does this) and that the coords are correct
After the bot was just floating there mounted for 10 minutes I hit the stop button and shut down everything for the night. It shows the correct cords I checked that with Notepad++
