      Hey folks,

For me it's time to build a botting PC.
      Expectations:
      8-12 WoW possible
      450 Euro max.

      Questions:
      i5 or Phenom x4?

      Here is my idea:
Intel Core i5 760 = 165 eur incl boxed cooling
      4GB Corsair kit = 60 eur
      MSI H55M-P33 = 79 eur
      Club 3D Cgax55524I HD 5550 = 50 eur
cheap case with PSU integrated = 40 eur
rnd hdd 250 gb seagate = 30 eur

I know this isn't a computer I can run 30-40 WoW + on.. but that isn't the point.. just 8-12 will be enough for now..

      Suggestions?

      So long
      Rhomb

That is quite a good price for 450 in my opinion.

Is it hard to build a pc on your own?
Is building an own one way cheaper than buying one?

It is not, i work for a big name gaming computer brand and to be honest, building a computer is not rockets science, and you save a LOT of money.

theres a lot of resources online that can explain the process step by step.

Just open your Pc once and youll see how it looks inside of it. ;-)
Its nothing special just look at the periphals and you can allready see where it goes into.
      Same with the cables

I actually thought of building an own notebook for like 2000 euro with at least 8 gb ram.
Is it hard to build an own notebook though?

build an own notebook is possible but the costs are higher than buying one..

I build my frist computer with 8 or 9 so i believe if ur interested in this stuff you should be able to learn it in no time.

Any more suggestions for my botting PC?
Will it even be possible to run 10 wow's on it.. i know lots about computer but the memory / cpu / graphics usage of wow is new to me so i can't estimate how many instances i can run on this computer.. just guessing about 10

I Have built many Computers in my time and taken apart many Laptops, as for building your own Laptop i just would not do it dont think it would worth the time or hassle.
Putting a Gaming PC is not a great challenge, just need to plan out everthing before hand and make sure you have the right ESD equipment so to not damage anything etc
and yes there is savings to be had building a pc

You dont build notebooks, but often you are able to change some of the specs. ie better GFX, CPU, RAM, and HDD/SSD. Most often only RAM and SSD/HDD is somethiung you can change yourself. since CPU and GFX are solded to the motherboard on notebooks. and for the record Notebook, is a description of a lighter version of a laptop. and really Notebooks are not suited for gaming at all. What you are most likely thinking of is a laptop. (Which is really just expencive, lower specs, and outdated in 3 - 4 months, and heavy as hell. Who carrys a laptop?).

Buy a "netbook" for 200 Euro, and then build a 500~ euro Desktop Machine instead, then you get twise the effect, half the price and at same time you can use the netbook to surf facebook wile botting.
