I got the same ban today.... i also used Gatherbuddy and we are not the only ones. You should try and appeal.. it worked for me. I got it overturned to a 72 hours ban instead.
I appealed mine (2 accounts 72hr) and they just said "we investigated again and have confirmed initial findings). I just did basic stuff. No crazy things. I just don't get out I was picked out when I'm mild and only play for fun.
