As per title. Bot trying to attack plants and NPCs. Been happening with 725 and now 726. Clean installs. Same profile been working PERFECTLY prior to 725. Also reported by others (See Brodiemans thread). Log attached. View attachment 120829 Please tell me you have this bug in hand already ?
No, I haven't. If you have another tillers profile that works, then I'll gladly try it, do you? Did you look at the log? It's is trying to attack a plant! Please don't give me the "it's a profile issue" canned response.
I don't understand how you've reached that conclusion, can you explain to me your thought process, and how you know it only happens to this profile? How exactly could a profiles InteractWith work perfectly pre-patch, and now make HB endlessly try and attack non-hostile units? Brodieman seems certain it's an issue at HB's side as well. Must I *again* take this over to the dev forum as I had to the last time you just kept giving me canned responses here, and ask "Tony says InteractWith is working correctly when it's attacking non-hostile units endlessly, and it's not a bug, why does this command no longer work as per the documentation, since the last patch". Can't you just look at the issue instead of making me jump through hoops *again* to get this acknowledged and fixed (example of the last time I had to do this: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...eloper-forum/145216-changes-interactwith.html)
Further to this, another profile with reports of the same issue: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...ng-ranch-harvesting-cleaning-planting-11.html
the same behavior occurs using this profile: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbu...-planting.html please see this thread (log attached): http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbu...anting-11.html Thanks.
wtf are you even doing here if you don't bot? and who said all they were doing is harvest/plow/replant? furthermore, who said they were only doing this on a single character? for those who haven't gotten the entire farm unlocked, this messes up the entire daily chain which takes a helluva a lot longer than 2.5 min. to do manually. in fact it ends up taking up the entire evening when you have a half dozen characters. please don't come in here and troll a thread that has no impact on you whatsoever. if you've nothing to add, then don't. thanks.
changes are made to quest behaviors all the time, when they are made its up to the quest profile writers to update the profiles.
there, now nether of you have crap to bump this thread about, if you wanna argue do it some where else, NOT in my support section.
Thanks for removing the troll In regards your response; you said this the last time i reported a bug as well, and that time Chinajade confirmed the bug and that the ball had been dropped by the initial dismissive attitude here in support, I was hoping to be taken more seriously this time. Alas, I'll play along though; if what you're saying is correct, and it's an intentional change so that InteractWith now causes the bot to try and attack friendly NPCs seemingly randomly, are there perhaps some new yet undocumented arguments to prevent it doing this, as I'd love to fix my profiles. I've also raised this on the dev forum incase they can advise of what changes I need to make: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...0-changes-interactwith-again.html#post1408369
Hi, Wullie, We've responded to your other thread here. This does indeed appear to be a problem with InteractWith. Thanks go to you and the Support team for bringing this to our attention. cheers, chinajade
Can't argue that as that's certainly true, but in those cases wouldn't there be something documented in changelog/release notes to indicate to the profile writers that changes may be required? Awesome! Thanks for everyone's help!
looks like a fix was included in the new update for the ninja patch (Honorbuddy v2.5.9831.727): - The InteractWith quest behavior will now correctly throttle it's move-to messages (HB-521) - The InteractWith quest behavior no-longer ignores mobs that aggroed onto player's pets (HB-85) - InteractWith quest behavior has been re-written to be more performant (HB-196)
Thanks, Nodecaf, And from Honorbuddy v2.5.9831.727, the one that relates to this issue: - Player pets are no-longer removed from targeting. Instead they are given much lower priority than their owner (HB-509) cheers, chinajade
