      common 'test-release' issues...and possible fixes




      This thread currently holds information about problems occuring to some users using the test-release of Honorbuddy.
      I'll update this thread whenever I've given a working solution in a supportthread inside this Forum, so if you issue is listed and can be fixed by using the provided FIX, good!
      If you issue is listed and cannot be resolved using the provided fix, please open your own Thread! - and don't forget to http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/honorbuddy-guides/35945-guide-how-attach-your-log.html !

      this thread should resolve only CURRENT honorbuddy issues with people using the test release, this it not for GENERAL honorbuddy problems!
      Please do NOT post an issue in this thread. If you issue cannot be resolved by a given fix, OPEN YOUR OWN THREAD and ATTACH A LOG. Thank you. :)



      1. HB is not attaching omfg!
      There are some scenarios where HB will not attach to your WoW

      1.1 You are from Europe (WoW build #17359) and are using the US-Version of Honorbuddy (WoW build #17371) and your bot stopped working after a small patch., your Log-File says:

      [08:33:53.816 N] This version of Honorbuddy only supports WoW Build #17359
      [08:33:53.816 N] You are currently on build #0
      [08:33:53.816 N] -------------------------------
      
      FIX download the Regular HB Version, it is your "new" build#: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/releases/131699-honorbuddy-v2-5-7857-658-a.html /FIX



      1.2 You are from Europe or the US and your Log-File says:

      FIX It seems like you logged into HB before WoW was ready. Try those steps: /FIX
      • Use the provided Honorbuddy.Launcher.exe and set the paths accordingly.
      • Launch it. Wait for WoW to Load up.
      • Log into WoW. Select your character, enter the game world.
      • Wait till your character is in Game!
      • Now log into Honorbuddy. I prefer closing the HB the Launcher opened, as it may bug currently. Start a new HB, and log in.



      1.3 You started WoW manually, you are even sure you started WoW.exe and think its 32bit(x86), but it still gets detected as 64bit(x64)

      [16:21:27.128 N] We couldn't find a proper WoW to attach. There are 64bit WoW processes running and Honorbuddy only works with 32bit version. 
      
      Please use the Launcher in Honorbuddy folder to launch the game and Honorbuddy.

      FIX The Log tells you what to do. Use the Honorbuddy.Launcher.exe - set the paths according, and launch it./FIX



      2. HB does not Login even though everything else is fine!
      There are some scenarios where HB will not Login correctly

      2.1 You are from Germany and are not using 'Honorbuddy Deutsche Version'
      Code:
      You are not authorized to connect to this server!
      
      FIX download the Honorbuddy Deutsche Version: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/releases/131699-honorbuddy-v2-5-7857-658-a.html and use it. (due to legal reasons the 'normal' Honorbuddy is forbidden in Germany)/FIX



      2.2 Your Honorbuddy says, and it seems as if it would not validate the info, but just say "NO"

      FIX your Windows-HOSTS file is probably corrupt, and has some entries for "auth.buddyauth.com" or equivalent. Reset your hosts file.       3.1 Launch WoW @ 32bit for Honorbuddy .660 to attach!

      step zero
      don't question why HB wont detect your "self openend" wow correctly.
      don't get mad at the launcher exiting "emegencily" (did i just invent that word?)
      It's just a [Test Release]

      step one
      open the Honorbuddy.Launcher.exe
      set paths to WoW.exe and Honorbuddy.exe in the according fields
      click launch, wow and HB shall open now.

      step two
      the HB opened by the launcher sometimes bugs. close it.
      log into your wow account with the WoW opened by the launcher.
      stand in the world.
      if the launcher stopped working during this time thats fine. close him.
      if the launcher opened more than one wow window... close the ones too much.

      step three
      open up Honorbuddy.exe - not the launcher.
      log in
      ??
      profit
