Hey there, just Registered with the Forum to let you know i like your botbase the Most of all, the idea is unique to let the bot Build the dB on its own.
I can See some Rough edges Here and there, but the Overall Concept is marvelous.

Using 1.0.3 i still hang at dead non skinnable Mobs from Time to Time.
The Database was empty during First Run (no Mobs tablet) then i copied the One from the Data subfolder into the rootfolder and it worked. After Start / Stop the botconfig Dialog Hangs.
I in Addition reccomend to let the bot Build a online Database so Data isn't lost and Shared between everyone Using your botbase automatically. Switching from Sqlite to mysql could help.

But again i am looking forward to See more of your awesome work.
      Best regards,
      JR

Comments like this are what encourage me to share what i make with the community.
As far as the tagged mobs - I think there is a problem with some of the detection built into HB. I didn't want to use a blacklist - i simply wanted to ignore mobs until they became skinnable, but I dont think this is possible. I do plan on putting up a web service that you can upload your db and have it merge into a master db and then dump back out another one. However the community isnt really active. I get a couple gems every now and then that make we want to make all these improvements but overall I dont think there is alot of call for a skinning bot.
This is be design. If you use my plugin AND my botbase you want to make sure you are adding to the correct db so you dont have two completely different versions.

Thanks again for your feedback when I stop getting messages like yours I'll stop sharing to the community.

Maybe dont call it skinbot anymore ;) it has the potential to replace Most botbases available and is Great for Coin collecting on the timeless Isle ;) a self learning bot does Not Need Quest paths Infos black and whitelists.
If you could "find" questgivers on the Map by accident and read the Mob and area were to Grind them from WoW Memory your botbase could Even replace questingbuddy and ofcourse gatherbuddy.

This was exactly the plan - and this is why its made in such the way it is. Questing can be complex... since there isn't always a simple kill and or collect objective. However, the goal is to learn how quests are done and then do them in the future that way. With some collaboration I think eventually we can have ALL the quests covered as a community.

The most important aspect of course is that they cant always behave the same way. We need some variation in there to be an effective human looking bot. Which is my whole goal for this botbase. I want it to play like a human not like a scripted bot. Which is why i dont run quest bot at all anymore.

This the feature that I'm currently working on. The next release might have this.

Attached logs from latest uses of this bot. I see a lot of potential with it and I'm sure it's just me being a novice but... I started it up in a location with tons of skinnable mobs and it wasn't detecting them at all, once i attacked them and skinned them myself it learned that and would start flying back and forth killing mobs where I had traveled while the bot was running but still wouldn't skin them on it's own.

I guess I misunderstood, I thought I could just start the bot in a location and it would run around killing / skinning mobs in that area but I guess I will need to figure out how to manually set it up for each zone I go to? Is that correct? In the time I ran around skinning mobs to set up the bots hotspot and mob database a little bit it was already time for m to train again and move onto a new area. So it's not really saving me any time but I'm sure this has to be to my own error.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but it isn't working for me at all :( I am at the location I want to be for skinning, and I can get the bot to recognize the mobs I want and everything, but I can't get it to open the configuration for the Skin Bot from the button, so I don't actually have a mob to farm. I may be doing something wrong, and I'll try to look into it more later when I get a chance. Hopefully it's just something stupid I forgot on my end, because this is an amazing idea!!

Adding logs just in case they're somehow helpful. Bottom log is first attempt, all the way to the top, which is my last attempt.

Thanks for any help, and I'll report back if I figure something out on my own.

Hey there mate, i just started using this bot, and its freaking awesome!

there is a few things tho ( it tries to avoid Aoe attacking mobs, it does SingleTarget farming, is there a way to change that?

And he allso keeps on mounting up betwean short distances, like, it mounts up on a flying mount, moves 1 yard, then attacks , ( its not a bug, its just it flies eventho its just 1 yard to the next mob, is it possible to fix that? as it really shows that its a bot this way! ( might be a setting ) havent found any tho

number 3 : there is a issue when i start HB, load this botbase , Press Bot Config, Close down the window, and it will not open again, untill i restart HB itselfe,

4 : when it fly's inbetween its skinning targets, it will not dissmount itselfe, it just howers over the skinning target, doing absolutly nothing, ( trying to loot it while mounted ) witch is a slowdown, Is there a setting im missing? or is this something you are aware of? :)

I found bot trying skin mobs that cannot be skinned: mob was killed by another player and i think, he is not loot it. Bot stays about 30 seconds and then go to next location.

Another bug: i showed bot to kill wolfs at elwinn forest. After some time bot found a tamed hunter's wolf and trying to kill them :D

The idea is that the bot needs to appear human-like. Yes you have to train it - but only once. Once you have trained it your done forever. It only kills and skins what you kill and skin. You wouldnt want it experimentally killing elites or the like...

      Thanks!
Im afraid that is primarily the CC - although i dont start a pull on multiple mobs a lot of people try to level skinning while they are leveling - i guess if i was skinning to sell for real money i would probably add an AOE routine...
This is 100% my ability to not figure out how to fix this and too lazy to look at other plugins/bot bases. I dont like jacking code. =/

It uses the build in HB navigation system. I'm sure this is a setting somewhere within HB?

I think that's pretty funny... actually... haha.
But no - this is a known bug - HB's detection is a bit flawed. I have tried to work around this issue but some things just don't work right.

Hi there Twist, Nice botbase. I have been using it only for the travel form function which is brilliant BTW.

Although it can do with some refining. I had to deal with some issues of it reading the wrong database file, after I got over that I messed about with the favourite locations and NPC functions, which is also neat, However it does not handle going from flying to inside well and I cannot delete favourite locations (I'm sure there's a way within the data management window but that's confusing and unfinished looking, aswell as something I shouldn't have to do to delete a simple favourite.

The goto NPC function is cool, however it is of little use to me as I am Alliance and as far as I could see, it was only for horde NPCs, adding Alliance ones would be really awesome.

All in all, the Travel Form is a really really awesome Idea and I hope you expand on it further, IMO you should make it it's own seperate plugin or botbase (whichever is more suitable) and extend it from there, Maybe make the UI for travelling a little bit friendlier and especially larger, maybe have it so when you save a favourite location it also takes a screen shot, you can search favourite location by zone and that it also lists favourite locations by showing all the screenshots with what you named the Favourite imposed across it.

And finally, make it flawless and add functionality for it to travel between continents. If you want me to more clearly explain what I have written feel free to add me on skype (Constable Fallen) and I can explain it more, or PM me or whatever. I am also here to bugtest for ya!

      Thanks again!

It will automatically add any npc you come across. Switch to learning mode and then visit some npcs. It will then learn who and where they are.

I think you're working on a new revision.
      Is there any news?
Thanks in advance for your response.
