Paid was surprised to have the bad right after I left a dungeon, and got dumped from game to be met with the little "banned" symbol. No prior warnings or anything. I waited a few minuted and got this email: ***NOTICE OF LICENSE TERMINATION*** Account: <redacted> Offense: Use of Bots or Third-Party Automation Software Blizzard has terminated this World of Warcraft license after identifying the usage of bots or other cheat software. These programs (commonly called cheats, bots, and hacks) automate certain aspects of gameplay, or provide unintended advantages and abilities to the player. This type of cheating undermines other players' experience and severely upsets the balance of the game environment. Blizzard reserves the right to terminate access for conduct of this nature, with or without warning, as noted in the World of Warcraft Terms of Use:
I wonder, did you load in .728 and attempt to use gatherbuddy or professionbuddy? I'm just speculating here, because I was logged in that time, (and in and out a few times trying to get fishing to work) then used autoangler for a bit, then ran a scenario and a heroic dungeon, then the ban
The therm "Various" brings nothing to the report. Like, I was banned for doing various of activities for various timeframes and filling the AH with too many auctions Be more precise please, or its useless ...
Yes, and the various was because some days is was for 30 minutes, others it was for 6 hours and I think I had one or two days of 10 hours of gatherbuddy farming of ore
I see as much of this as I see the opposite. this will absolutely make me think more about the amount of GB I use, however.
i've had three first time offenses account not given 72hr after perma ban it depends on the GM you get. Out of my 10 banned accounts only one has been reversed from perma ban to 72hr ban and that was via LIVE CHAT!
Are you sure? I should've saved the chat but a GM told me they give everyone a "second" chance, a warning if you will. Simply ask nicely, tell them you farm hard, not sure why you got banned. Obv if you have purchases on your account you can't go with "foul play" of "i got hacked, my account is being used by someone"... Yes, I was on via live chat as well. I'd call if live chat didn't work out for you, not many GM's will start shit on the phone with you... Edit: Btw, I'm a crazy bastard as well. I tried to even appeal the 72 hr ban (any innocent person would) and I went through like 3-4 different GM's and finally opened an appeal ticket directly. They ended up telling me not to email them again about or they'd ignore me on the matter. I still sent them one last message asking for "proof", although, the previous GM did say there were such things as "false positives" on the matter... which I was declined on Will not bot on main anymore. There's still some theories I want to test on botting, about perfected run times / idle times, I will tell you if you run your bot for 15 hours a day you will get banned
well... nothing... all I did was ask about the appeal process, and they dumped it to a 72h suspension... oh well, I'll take it
