[PAID] [Warlock] Demonic - An Advanced Honorbuddy Warlock Routine [PvE/PvP]

The only buffs that should have stack counts are wushoolay's and BBoY (5-6 Stacks, is good, depends on your haste). But yeah, the list is fine.

 

For clarity, is anyone able to outperform this AI and are there any further tricks or setting adjustments to boost DPS?

 

Is there a way to incorportate the affliction trick with this CC, for example, manually targetting?

I just did 456k in aff on protectors .....how is that low?

 

I am doing that damage as destruction playing by hand, so yes, it is low.

But as Millz already posted on previous page, there are some issues with HB API and thus the routine is not performing always to its best possibilities. In normal T16 gear u should pull out much more than 450k as affliction speced and geared.

 

yeah, much more, thats why just 4k more would be a ranked place as affli in that fight in world of logs....

 

As a heroic geared warlock (578 with H bboy, 14/14H) I do the same DPS on protectors as destro and affi using this routine. While this might sound acceptable to some the ceiling for affliction is much higher on this fight. With the affliction spec it starts out very strong but eventually the routine starts making incorrect soul swaps, destroying your DPS.

Several people have posted to the same effect and Millz himself has responded with the reason. It doesn't sound like an easy (or quick) fix so for now its probably worth just sticking with destro (would rather be seen to be playing the wrong spec well then be seen to be a subpar affi lock).

 

Disable 'Command Demon'.

Affliction -> I think I might have come up with a partial solution to the problem. Will try and get it done tonight if I can, and see what it's like.

You are comparing Destro and Affliction ..... 2 totally different builds ......GG

and since I can do 600k+ with this as destro with the proper build I would say there is your answer

 

600k+ single target sustained over a 10 minute fight on a raid dummy? Sounds pretty unlikely. I can get over 4m dps at the general naz trash (not the trash you reset) but single target i pull around 451k over a 10 minute fight on a single target (without using havoc or any aoe other than rof)

 

There's no way he meant single target, as even in BiS gear, you're not maintaining that with full buffs. 600k on all 4 dummies at shrine would be more likely, as 500k is easily maintained, as affliction.

 

Pushed an update to affliction. Seems to be more stable when it comes to picking units.

Also managed to get rid of the exhale -> malefic grasp -> inhale bug (which left the dots ticking away).

Be interesting to hear how people are getting on with it.
