If you had access to all professions, and if you had a steady stream herbs coming in, what would you do with them? In the past, you could shift any amount simply by crafting shoulder enchants and selling them to a vendor. Sadly, Blizzard reduced the price too much for that to be worth it. So, what would you do with a very large amount of herbs? I figured maybe I should ask my dear friends here for advice: Use no professions, sell on AH. Perhaps a bit risky, flooding AH has often been mentioned as a cause of bans. Alchemy: Is not everyone using cauldrons for raiding? Scribe option 1: Glyphs. It seems the value of this market has dropped a lot, with the fall in number of glyphs required (since you now learn them permanently), and it used to require very aggressive market behaviour. Is it worth the time to have a bot cancel, fetch from mail, list on AH, scan and cancel as needed, and repeat? Scribe option 2: Make the mysterious fortune card and fill up AH (risky?) or open them yourself to keep things a bit more secret and be able to shuffle any amount but make less money? Any other option? What would you guys suggest? I realise that there are market variations between servers, incl depending on population (mine is medium to high pop), and that I could spend a few hours to research what "normal" people do, but "normal" people do not have bots fetching them so damned many herbs so what works for them in small amounts may not be applicable to those who have to deal with large amounts. Thank you for your time and advice.
Glyphs are cheap to craft and can be sold for high prices. Sounds great, doesn`t it? But it isn`t as great. Thats why: -No one really needs glyphs nowadays. Just new chars or after a specc change. Too bad, the good ol days are over where you had to buy a new glyph everytime you wanted to switch. -Glyph market is highly compatative and you have to adjust your prices all the time and cancel undercut auctions and restock. Thats easy if you do it with gems, because there are propably 50 gems worth selling nowadays and you get rid of them very fast beacuse everyone need them all the time. But I`m not sure how many glyphs are in the game, I guess around 300. So carriing around 300 glyphs in your bags sucks, because you can only carry 120 and after cancelling them from the Ah you have to reload your UI about 5 times to recieve them all. -Glyph prices vary so much. One day you sell a glyph for 20g, the next day you get 750g. Just for orientation... Every day I sell between 3-5% of my glyphs postet in the AH. Cancel and restock about 10 times a day. Only 40% of my glyphs get undercut.
no matter what u sell is not gonna be so profitable, waste of time and flooding AH is not good when herbs are already under 1g..... but with green tea leaf, they vendors for 23 silver, if u have a potion master and buy 1000 crystal vail, and start making master healing potion they can be vendor for 60silver I believe. so if u got 1000 green tea leaf that's easy 600g. but for me is not worth it as ghost iron sells for close to 3g each. so I do only mining + golden lotus only. also u don't only just get banned for flooding AH, running GB2 with the same profile for hours is very risky from server side detection.
