I used Oracle yesterday with my gfs paladin, but I noticed that it tried to spam Divine Light and canceled it all over again and made you look really botty, I got a logfile attached.
Yes, if you use Cancel Casting you look like Flappy Bird indeed. I just disabled it; I never cancel my casts anymore.
Wulf, any insights yet as to why my Holy Pally shows this behaviour? As well as the MW Monk, but I have no log of that yet, I can make a new one though. Even a YouTube movie if needed to show you that there's really no healing done in that timeframe.
Hi, i used oracle for a while now for my disc priest and it worked great. today I tried it with a druid, and i'm a little shocked how bad it performs. I have an average hps of 22K with ilvl 496. The ilvl clearly isn't good, but 22K is WAY too low, even for that ilvl. I even had ~ 13K hps for one boss, and got kicked out of the raid because of my low heal. I also noticed the druid quite often standing there trying to cast something, getting the message "invalid target". I never had such problems with my priest. Any suggestions what I could do? Change settings or something (I'm using default settings as this worked perfect for my priest)? Or is Oracle poor for druid in general? I'm pretty disappointed right now.
Do you have a log or something? And what are your settings? Oracle has been OP for me on no matter which class I tried it, so yeah, it's probly something wrong in your setup or gemming or reforging or something, but I can guarantee you it's not Oracle
What for a config on a disci priest do you prefer? some special glyphs or anything else? any other disci makes more dmg and heal at the same time then me... and i have a much better gear... i always have manaprobs and so on... i use tyrael and no plugins...^^ it casts really late some heals on players... and all that stuff^^
Here are my General and Class settings, the name of the file should point out which is which I have to give credit to Benny it are his settings but with a few minor tweaks here and there, because like you I was running into mana problems as well, changing some of these settings fixed that for me. My ilvl is 549 and I have no problem keeping up with full normal geared people, you do have to take in consideration though that you won't be on the same spot in the healing meters every fight, every fight is different and every class has his fights where they will do better or worse than others. If you start casting late, it could be due to the setting of the number of people that need to be at x % to start healing. You can change this number or when you feel you should already be casting when you are not, just select your tank or use a macro that selects yourself or whatever you like best and cast penance or make it cast penance or whatever instant healing spell you like best and this will also trigger the bot/routine to start. From my experience that is. When it comes to mana talents I use Mindbender. When it comes to glyphs I use Penance, PoM and Holy Fire, I'd say Penance and Holy Fire are kind of a must-have, PoM you can replace with whatever you like best. I hope this helps you a bit.

No problem, I hope it helps! And I think I have mindbender set to auto-cast at like 75% mana or something Edit; Also when it casts Spirit Shell, it will cast Prayer of Healing like five times or something, which is not needed, kinda drains some mana and can easily be countered by removing the Spirit Shell buff from yourself by rightclicking it.

Oracle FTW!!! Just "boosted" a priest. First time healer. I tried the Proving grounds (with mostly Timeless gear) using a different CR for Discipline Spec. It couldn't pass wave 3-4 of Bronze. Tried Oracle, and "out of the box" install, I made it to wave 3 of GOLD level. Impressive. I didn't change any settings or tweak it yet. Thanks Oracle! ***EDIT - Just ran MSV and HofF.....was the top healer in MSV and 2nd highest in HoF. Very nice.
Hey wulf I just noticed the setting for Healing Rain spam with Shamans on Me/Tank/Second Tank. Can you add an option for Focus or Target?
I have completely re-written Oracle to be ready for WoD's release therefore all change requests will be implemented in the release of Oracle II.
