Do i need the special edition to heal the NPC's in Proving grounds?
Ive searched this forum and i can see someone posted you need to load a proving ground preset profile
but i cant find it in the public release

I think the option to run the slider bar to adjust for mana is absolutely ingenious. Way to go Tuanha your the man!

 

Not sure if you need special edition, but I've gotten past wave 36 using this SE cr. It heals the npcs, the main thing is make sure your position is correct as the cr needs to interupt, blind, rebuke the correct targets. Some things I have to do manually with SE is Lay on Hands and BoP.

 

Still I wonder what the slider actually DOES. I've askes TuanHA before but no answer. How does it work? The spell thresholds stay the same, so what does it do? Is is pure reaction speed?

Sure, but what worked for me is just running to each spawn point for the waves, and stay in melee distance as much as possible. The more cc that happens, the lesser the damage. This should make trivial work out of most of the waves.

 

Hey man, mind posting your gear and healing settings?

 

For the healing setting I think he loads up the proving ground file, as for gear I think that wont help since it gets scaled down.

 

Hey, just use gear that works best for the scale down, gem sockets are most important. Settings, use default proving grounds file but unclick EF Blanket and set WoG to like 85, to save mana. Set Light's Hammer to 2 and 80. Talents are Speed of Light, Fist of Justice, Eternal Flame, Clemency, Holy Avenger, and Light's Hammer. Glyphs are Prot of Innocent, Beacon of Light, and if you are under 9k spirit, use the Glyph of Illmination. Use Spirit Flask and Spirit Food. For the CR to do its stuff, stand where each wave spawns to allow the cc to work. The CR will do all the work if you are in correct spawn points, with 2 major exceptions; BoP and Lay on Hands doesn't seem to cast on the NPCs, so you have to do those manually in the "oh shit" moments.

Tuanha, I recently purchased the special edition of your Paladin class routine. I just wanted to tell you that it has helped me immensely with the game, and especially with SoO. I've also used your other routines before too (mostly your Hunter one), and they performed very well also.

Keep up the good work. Will we be seeing you through Warlords of Draenor?

with this cr(holy) i got ilvl 566 , 6 hc kills in 10 man SOO raid and im still the best healer in raid.

I play with SH and have 13,5k Spirit. Raidsettings (just push the button "Raid") and do Cooldowns by my own.

I thought every protpaladin used Seal of Insight since Throne of Thunder with the massive healing and threat it gives you, has that changed since?

 

Eternal Flame is manual cast as prot?

I Need use other seal because i use profile for instance farm ,my char have big stuff therefore insight is not necessary.
I search change insight by seal of truth .
I find in the file (thcommon.cs)

Je suis pas sur d'avoir comprit ton message.

Si je désire utilisé le SEAL OF TRUTH plutot que l'autre c'est par ce que j'utilise le profile pour farm en instance de manière solo.Il a un équipement tres évoluer c'est pourquoi il lui est inutile d'avoir le sceau INSIGHT pour réduire mon temps farm.Actuellement je suis dans le fichier a recherché quel ligne modifie le seal .

 

Oh JCF then I understand better why you want to be able to switch, I thought the routine has a choice for Seals

 

My Guild just came to thok HC now and it seems i cant find good settings for it .. anyone got suggestions ? wich talants/glyphs and settings etc ?

Haha, of course, well I am just making up a post about my settings/talents at the moment, ranked in the top 20 on a couple of nm fights using it so it works good for me, might help you.
