may i ask what changes were made in the very latest build (478 and 477), because the previous version (476)is working just fine?
Keylogger, they now have access to all your accounts. JUST KIDDING, I presume it's in regards to the new server?
The new build automagically accesses the new, beastly navigation server. If the old box ran on hamsters, the new one uses pumas. Please enjoy the awesome. Cheers, -D
while I am asking questions: I happen to shut down entirely BuddyWing in between warzones, and then re loading it once I enter a new Warzone. After it loads (on each warzone) I repeat the cycle of selecting pureswtor routine, load blank combat profile, press run. Am I doing it right? Is there a possibility to reduce the time it takes to repeat my tedious ritual?
It should remember the last routine and profile you used at the very least, but the restarting every time is inevitable. We never officially added support for WarZones for the exact same reason you have to re-start the bot every time; they do stuff which basically makes it a complete pain in the ass to support properly. We decided to focus on PvE purely. As for the release, it indeed uses our new, dedicated server for SWTOR. It may be a little bit overkill, but it has 128GB of RAM and 2 Xeon E2650 V2 CPUs, dedicated to serving SWTOR navigational data currently. It should be fully operational with all the planet data serving properly, but if you do run into issues, make sure to let me know either here or in PM.
You are doing it correct just warzones have so much stealth going on to other ojbects that buddywing doesn't know WTF are so it throws errors nonstop. Nothing was ever meshed in warzones. Good luck I gave up on that a long long time ago. Better off just L2P than using BW for warzones. BW reaction time is just not as fast as a player even with 1.5 GCD.
If i may chip in, my W8 rig does not remember the last used routine, it Always uses the DefaultCombat routine at BW startup.
Because how buddywing works. You could rename PURE files for example so that's its default combat and then it would pick that one first. It would throw any of the issues people have had forever with having to have another routine installed. Few routines just use defaultcombat since causes less issues with the bot. Honestly switch between them on the fly isn't really going to work well with how buddywing reads the swtor memory process. Yes it may work at times but consistency is very doubtful from the testing I did a while back.
Well im not changing on the fly, its just n startup i change whatever routine i want, but when i need to shutdown and reboot that routine is not saved. In the settings file i got <LastProfile> for last profile used, but there is nothing in the settings about LastRoutine or something... I do remember when i used VM (w7 32bit) it was saved in some occasions...
Beastly ? I waited 2 days to update and my bot. My bot ran for those 2 days uninterupted on the hamster server. I did a full BW update and guess what ? Every time I check my bot I'm either on character select or the server choice screen. Let us hope this is just some teething problems.
