Hi, Is it possible to have a glimpse of dps provided by this routine? Is adapted to the HM? And it will be further developed in WoD?
how to reload the cc when u change talents etc, i always have trouble getting it to work after talent change, i have to close hb and open again for it to work, i cant do this while raiding, any help/advice would be helpful. so do i have to create multiple profiles and load them ? i am a bit confused.
No u dont need to reload the CC by changing talents. You need to restart HB when you change specs though.
Just a note, the fixes to Frost seem to have broken dotting with living bomb at least, not done much testing but it seems only the target is dotted at the moment and not other mobs (aoe was on)
Here are some requests:Wish mouseover RoF was clicking Rof on ground. Atm this is not the case for me. Incanters ward more responsive, should use also when the mage got dots on himself. I think all classes except WW monk got some sort of dot so it's a very good setting to have. Make blazing speed logic better. Cokx mage profile got a perfect system for it, where it uses blazing speed if an enemy melee is near and attacking the mage. Hot keys for Deep Freeze is very much needed. One for target and focus is enough. Refresh bomb on frozen target so it would benefit from shatter would be very useful. This should only apply to our target and not when it comes to multi dotting. Fix multi dotting with bombs, this is very good for pvp. Cokx profile got a tagging system with bomb, i.e bomb everything close by. This is good for pvp, not good for pve. A questionWhat sort of frame lock is this routine optimized for in pvp? How high do people use? I set it to 15 tps hard lock but it seems to ice block late and do some other things late? And also, how do I lower interupt percentage.
Glimpse in what sense? It does have some PvE logic built in (i.e. for Thok etc). No plans to stop development. It can only be caused if you have a set of gloves in your bags ... ? The way it works, is it finds you have a spell attached to an item (i.e. synapse springs has a 'use' ability which is a spell). It then tries to cast that spell using lua, however the lua call activates the first occurrence of that spell (which if you have gloves in your bags, will be those - rather than the ones you have equipped). Double check you definitely don't have any gloves in your bags, and let me know if it's still failing. Found something which could be causing this. Will sort it. It's a combat routine, which basically handles casting the spells/abilities. You need to download the routine using the zip file or (preferably) the SVN link. It should go under the 'Routines' folder.. <Honorbuddy>/Routines/Portal/ What about pets? Sent PM about other version. Mouseover RoF does click on the ground ? Incanters ward -> define more responsive? Should be used near enough on cooldown. Blazing Speed is a good idea. There's a possible issue with multi dotting on the current version (see above). Will fix this tonight. 15 tps hard lock is fine. Counterspell is automatic, it has a lot of randomization in it to prevent it reacting at bot-like speeds.
PM'd Yeah it's just temporary, only lasts a few minutes. Just need to keep retrying when you get that message.
It does not click RoF on the ground for me. It just brings up the RoF so I can click it myself. How do I fix this? Incanter's ward should only be used if it will get broken. If it isn't broken you will not benefit from 15% extra dmg, or 6% extra dmg. When incanter's ward is not on cooldown it gives us 6% more damage. About the counterspell thing I think lag from my side can make it sometimes cast counterspell too late. Cokx got a setting to lower interupt percentage while still keeping it random. Btw, automation of using Alchemist's flask, would be a very neat feature . Sometimes hard for me to remember using it
Try pressing and holding down the key combo for slightly longer. Whats your in game latency? I've found an issue with Counterspell, will push the fix later. Incanter's Ward should just be used when enemies are targeting you (as that's the only way to really guess that you're about to receive some incoming damage). That's what the 'cast when x units targeting us' value is all about. I've just noticed a bug with that too though ) Will push fix for this later also.
hellomr something sounds like its wrong with your CR-installment, because it casts RoF just fine for me. post a logfile.
Well maybe u can do so that it will not cast incanter's ward if healers are targeting the mage. The situations where this would not apply I guess is when a druid in heart of the wild is attacking, or a MW monk. I think healer priests, shammies and pallys have a hard time breaking the shield. Will post a log file about ROF mouseover issue when I figure out how to post a log file. I can hold it down for ages but it never go off. It doesn't seem to even use ROF while in combat (I get no aura on the ground because the rotation just continues to use gcds). Ingame latency is between 60-100. This is what comes up when I press ROF: [Portal] [HP: 100] [Mana: 100] [BF: False] [FoF: 0] [Hotkey] Ring of Frost Mouseover [Unknown]
Good call. Will add in ignore healers. For mouseover, you need to mouse over an actual unit, not just open space. Ring of Frost Mouseover [Unknown] Unknown means it can't find the unit's location to cast RoF, so it fails.
Here is 1 more suggestion: If you want auto blink to be more viable for pvp, disable all blinking out of roots and disable blinking out of short ranged stuns. Cokx again got wonderful logic for this. Essentially ranged long stuns like Fist of justice/deep freeze should be blinked and all melee stuns should be blinked for kiting, including warrior shockwave and charge. Those that not should be blinked are warlock shadow fury, warrior storm bolt and hunter stuns mm, because those can force bad positioning and really should be up to the user if he wants to blink or not. Edit: btw it might be wise to not blink diminished warrior charges, and with the root thing, I think it is worth to auto blink when warrior charges and have the root talent I think is called warbringer.
Personally I disable all blinking usage by the routine. It's much better to handle that manually if you're PvPing competitively. It's fine for afking with BGBuddy/BGFarmer though.
Fair enough But do you know what would be amazing? a setting that would deep freeze a healer on healing cast (many mages use deep freeze glyph so it's a possibity to stop casts with deep freeze ). And with this setting a toggle so we can turn it off mid fight. To expand this feature, u can add a defensive deep freeze for none targets that are attacking you when you are at low hp, i.e maybe when you hit 50% you deep freeze the rogue while you are attacking the hunter and chain ccing the healer. I know this is pretty advanced stuff but hey, a man can dream. I have noticed though that the combat routine doesn't stop cast on some immunities. Pause the dmg rotation on targets with disperse, ice block, karma, bubble deterrence (have I forgot anything?). Tbh I think it's just a problem with dispersion. You could also avoid using frost nova on targets that cannot be rooted, but maybe this is implemented already? Edit: Yes the cr did just frost nova on a bladestorming warrior so I guess this is not implemented. It seems to me that Auto ice block on a select hp works strange, sometimes I end up blocking at 10% to 1% hp. Most of the time I just end up dying if I don't hit it manually, and the combat routine clearly uses other gcds when my hp under the value I set for ice block.
Deep Freeze stuff is still on my list, not quite as easy to implement as i'll need to unpick a lot of code. It should stop on immunities, that code has been in for a looong time. If there's any specific auras that's missing then I can check it out, but ice block and stuff definitely doesn't get casted on. I'll fix frost nova on bladestorm. Will also improve the speed of ice block.
I think it's a problem with Priest dispersion. You could add mage ice block glyph to it. The cr does seem to have a fixation in frost novaing pets and mobs, could u somehow add a pvp check for this?
Ah Dispersion isn't on the dont attack list as you can still do damage (even though it's only 10%, you might get a kill still ) It wasn't blacklisted for crowd control though, so I'll add that in. *edit* Glyph of Ice Block is already blacklisted.
