HB ARCHIVES: TheBrodieman's Profile Compendium--DO NOT DELETE

It ends up saying in the windows errors before it closes the program. "Unable to load profile" "Document not found". I tried a fresh install of both the plugins and HB.

I got it fixed, turns out I somehow corrupted a file somewhere in the plugin folder, and after another complete fresh install it now appears to work. (Instead of moving the plugin folder back and forth I just redownloaded it and updated.)

Yes, due to the way it does it's updates, and the number of files outside the plugin folder, you cannot drag and drop an old install of the plugin: it will fail to find essential files. Fresh install is required every time you create a fresh HB install, and is recommended but not required after every patch.

 

I'll double check that the prereq item quest is done. Not sure how I missed that sorry. Thank you for this and the rest of your testing reports, helping make this project to a true 99% afk profile set.

EDIT: Quest was covered for Horde, but not Alliance. Sorry about that. It will be in on the next push.

 

This would be great if you had the bot stop or a pop-up screen state manual intervention, press continue when done. had multiple wow windows and didnt see this for 4 hours just went around killing things. did manual now its on its way.

Great profile so far though.

Mostly Tyrael, others from BattlePetCollector. Recommend a fresh install of HB, then of your individual botbases, plugins, and CRs. Don't copy old stuff over.

Firstly your plugin is Awesome i dunno what i would of done with out this its been brilliant.
Reason im asking for help since the last update it wont let me do the timeless isle grinds i have deleted the plug in and re installed it and also cleared all my cache but keep getting the same error on HB and i havent a clue what to do now so i thought you may be able to help the HB error message i get is -

Bad development QB that seemingly is coming with HB. I could be wrong about the source, but the file is the root of the issue. Follow the path from the compiler error above, and remove the file it speaks of. This file, to my knowledge, is not used in profiles or HB itself, so removing shouldn't cause more issues.

The while error you get in this pop up I can't identify why it would give. If you still get it after this I would recommend a fresh install of HB before a fresh install of my plugin. And also, with all future reports, please send a log file from HB\Logs associated with the most recent issues. HB output doesn't contains everything that's going on in the background.

 

Hi, I keep getting the "ProfileSwapper did not load properly" error on subsequent runs of HonorBuddy. I had to download a new copy of HB, download TBM plugin, update it then restart HB to get it going yesterday. Today I am having the same issue. I have nothing else installed (plugin wise) that is non-default, and the only thing I have done is run BGBuddy for a few hours last night.

EDIT: I Just tried running it now that my hearthstone is off cooldown and it worked. I think that might be trying to cast Hearthstone(I saw it cast then interrupt it), and when it fails it gives the error.

 

Your hearthstone is on cooldown. It must be available to work.

 

Ok, thanks. Though I was at my hearth location, I guess I will just let it hearth me.

 

It's not about hear thing or being at a set location. The hearth spell is used as a kicker to swap profiles. If it can't cast it, it can't move on. If the bot is casting hearthstone fully, then the plugin is not running.

Hi, I'm having some trouble getting the MoP Dailies to run. For what it's worth, the Stormwind Fishing Daily worked great...

Here's a log file. Essentially, what happens is I am choosing the Rep, hitting start, and it's hearthing me, creating soulstones, etc etc, then it stops saying there is 'nothing to do'. If I try re-running just by hitting Bot Start, it waits for 3 seconds (countdown) then stops the same way. If I try re-running from the Plugin, same problem.

According to the log:
Your version is up to date. When the bot is activating the hearthstone to kick off the start of the profiles, no response is coming from the plugin. This happens in 1 of 3 instances:
1) The plugin is not activated. Double-check that the check box is active on the plugins screen next to TheBrodieMan Compendium
2) Enable Dailies is not colored blue. Blue represents "Active". If Enable Dailies is not active, the profile swapper coding will not run, so as to avoid unwanted switching of profiles.
3) Clicking the wrong start button. If you go to the dailies page, enable, select all the reps you want, then leave that page and click a different start button, the profile swapper code will not activate. Enable Dailies is turned off by default if any other start button is hit, so as to avoid unwanted switching of profiles. Unless a different profile is selected, however, it would still load the kicker profile for MoP Dailies.

Make sure you are doing the following:
1) Activate the plugin in the HB Plugins list
2) Open the UI, and navigate to the MoP Dailies tab
3) Enable Dailies, then select the reps of your choice. Both the reps you choose and the Enable Dailies buttons MUST be colored blue!
4) Click the start button within the UI. Do not close and save, then hit start on HB. This will not start the plugin correctly.

 

Update: Fresh HB Install Fixes issue. HB Auto Updates are shit and should always be a fresh install from what I can see.

I have started the profiles correctly as I have already been using them last week with 0 issues and this week it does not work. Something happened with your profile swapper.



If You are seeing this message, it means ProfileSwapper did not load properly!

Please check the following:
1) Is BrodiesPlugin activated
2) Do you have dailies enabled, reps selected, and started from within the plugin
3) Did you stop the bot during the run and restart thru the plugin? (You should not do this. If you stop the bot from HB, then restart from HB. Only start from the plugin for the initial start).

Update: Fresh HB Install Fixes issue. HB Auto Updates are shit and should always be a fresh install from what I can see.

The fact that it doesn't work this week shouldn't be coming from he plugin necessarily...considering the code has not been altered in several months.
