So, this is basically a topic for all of you who also level up using Battlegrounds... What's your leveling up plan with BGs? (for example, 10 - 49 WSG, and then AV, etc) Which BG gives you more XP? Which BG does your bot look more like a bot? Which BG had you never had any serious problems running a bot on? Which BG profiles do you use? Which plugins do you use? So far I've only botted on WSG, from 27 to 40, but then Call to Arms ended so... During Call to Arms WSG levels me up like crazy, and my character rarely gets stuck in a spike (when he does, the bot just unmounts, goes around the spot, and mounts back up). I'm using w00t's PVP profile for WSG, and no plugin at all
27-40 in a CTA is actually pretty bad, I get that in 1 night on CTA wsg weekend. I dont level on bgs except CTA... no point, just grind mode alll day eeeery day untill a good cta weekend comes around then do it
/agree I just came back to playing and I didn't know BGs even gave xp, but I've tried it during CTA and during the week, during CTA it kind of pisses me off when my team doesn't work hard enough lol, I end up getting 20k - 30k xp, but when we win I get about 100k, and this is at 75. During the week, I've only done it once, I got, I think, less than 10k. So IME it's a waste of time when it's not CTA. Straight grinding though takes FOREVER, I've had my pally up all day and he's only gotten about 800k exp. AV is teh pwn though, CTA or not.
The fastest will always be one which your faction wins consistently. AV is usually pretty good, simply because there are many objectives that get completed that earn exp, but don't necessarily mean you win or lose (towers and captain) but some, like WSG you only get exp if you cap a flag, and if you lose all the time and never cap (happens a lot on my server) you hardly get any exp.
Well, in the server I play I'm alliance, but in terms of server population we are heavy outnumbered by the Horde, and most Allies in our realm suck. I left it one night, it lost 13 BGs in a row. But yeah, I was never able to leave it the whole night working. Wow either crashed, or HB, or I'd be too paranoid to leave the bot too much time botting. By the time I got the hang of it CTA was over I've been hearing great things about leveling up on AV. So I suppose during CTA you would level up even more then WSG? Do you think it's better to level up through AV than just pure grinding? What about AB? How does it compare to WSG and AV? Thanks for the inputs guys!
Well during CTA, the BG that is chosen gives the massive XP, but the others are regular and you don't get much. As far as a fun factor AV it the best because it's like two 40 man raids trying to have a Big Team Slayer match most of the time lol, the only time I botted last weekend was through the night, and I had a DC one night and I was pissed, but it's ok, I see that as WoW giving back for my first account they took. AB is AB, the xp is going to be the same, personally I don't really like that one, but AB weekend is AB weekend. As far as pure grinding compared to doing AV, I wouldn't because AV can take a long time, and during the week you don't get much xp, but if you'r grinding you can kill two birds with one stone and get xp and skin/mine/herb, plus any blues and epics that drop. I've had HB up for 72 hours and it's still about 250k from a level, but the money I've made from it is rediculous, over 100 stacks of borean leather, which on my server I sell for 15g a stack, and arctic fur which sells for 50g a peice. Also edit your post and take out your server name, I think Blizz watches these forums and all the other ones about WoW exploits, so don't put any info that could draw any un-needed attention to yourself, or anywhere close to you
